I'll have to look that up, but I'm not surprised. I knew something was coming. For those who are newish to the scene, about 10 years ago the Emerald was under different ownership as The Orion. Mostly local SWs and looooots of drugs moved through there. The rooms were disgusting, very much the typical junkie motel. One could, if one were so inclined, simply go park in the lot at Orion and just wait to find a date right in the lot. The Seattle police put two undercover officers in the Orion, posing as prostitute and pimp for about six months. They did a sweep one night and nailed some heroin dealers and something to do with a couple of pimps running minors. As a result the management sold the motel to the current owners who cleaned it up a bit, but since then it's slipped back into what it used to be. So I knew something was coming. I really like to avoid that place, and honestly it's hard to get out of that lot in a hurry if you ever run into trouble. You're just boxed-in like an ambush set-up. Only one way out in a cramped lot. Be careful around there, gents.

I have graduated from the SW scene. Moved on too a nice sugar baby I met off seeking. I probably won't be cruising for a long time. It's not worth the time or effort. That effort is much better spent in the SD scene where it actually pays off long term and the quality of the girls is much higher (non pros). Though there are some pros out there on seeking. It's easy to tell which ones they are right from the jump. No more of this 15 minute car date bullshit. I've only ever had one or two girls in the last two years ever set a timer on for me. If they are routinely setting timers on for you. There is something wrong with you. Your car. Your clothes. Something they don't like. It's only happened to me maybe twice in the past 2 years for me out of well over 50+ girls I've been with. I think guys probably think because they are hookers and you are paying them that it doesn't matter what you look like or how you present yourself. Which really couldn't be farther from the truth. A good looking clean shaven guy is going to get better service then some dirty musty guy in some econobox shitter.

I had one girl tell me recently that "it's rare to see a put together white guy like you out here". That hit home for me. I have seen some of the shitboxes the other mongers drive and yea I wouldn't want to get into those cars either if I was a SW regardless if they had the money. I think some of the reviews I've seen on here with such extremely limited menu's only offering a HJ is reflective of that which is something I have never ever heard of or seen before.

All that said I read the news article today about the emerald getting notices.

"The Chronic Nuisance Declaration letters require the Emerald Motel and Seattle Inn to eliminate all illegal activities and safety concerns within seven days or to be shut down. ".

I wonder how easy it would be too shut the emerald / seattle inn down if they continue to have girls working out front past the 7 days. I would imagine they could still appeal it and / or come into compliance past the 7 days mark? Be interesting to see how this unfolds. I have no doubt though that if they really wanted to shut the emerald / inn down they would. I personally think it would be to the betterment of the scene. Shutting down those motels would require then those girls to have to do CD's and that would improve the service.

I'm about as clean-cut as they come, having fairly recently separated from years in the reserves as a military officer. No facial hair, very fit and in shape, very low body-fat. I'm showered and clean on days or nights when I want to actively pursue and cruise the stroll. I drive a later-model car, but not anything banged-up or crazy. I could buy an expensive new car, but to me that's never made any sense to dump money into a depreciating asset. That's just me, though, I'm not criticizing anyone else who does. Some people are just into cars, that's fine. But even if I did, I still might drive an older secondary car when cruising AA because honestly these girls will trash your car. That's also been my experience in my two decades out there. They spill shit, drop stuff, generally just don't care. But oddly enough, the nights in the past three years when I've had the most luck are nights when I'm just driving through on my way to somewhere. I don't live too far from the action so I'm often moving through the area. It seems that whenever I'm not actively cruising and just needing to go to the store or get somewhere, that's when I find the willing SW. The funny thing is that I'm not always at my best in those moments and they still do it. Some of those times I was just out of the gym and a serious ball of sweat after going rounds in the boxing ring or pretty crazy conditioning session. I'd tell her so before she'd get in and she'd just tell me to wipe down. Seriously. I've dated some of the hottest dolled-up girls under those conditions, LOL. At the end of the day it really is about money for these girls as long as you aren't coming-off as nutball serial-killer crazy.

I think one of the biggest issues for me is that I have that command presence demeanor which can make girls think I'm a cop (along with my clean-cut look), I've had that problem quite a bit over the years. I can also be blunt during a negotiation. Rather than my looks, cleanliness or car, I think these are my biggest issues.

Same deal, the city issued a nuisance order after their raid and the owners decided to sell it rather than just shut it down. I'm guessing they'll kick all of the SWs out, we'll see where they'll stand. Probably more so at Lowe's and south of Northgate Way is my guess, but we'll see.

Just to put the final nail into this already dead horse, I'll add that when I sit and watch the scene I always see hot young SWs get lots of interest yet never get into cars. Some nice cars and trucks, too. The guys, from what I can see, are normal as normal can be. Their menus are so restrictive these days along with maximizing their dollar return for as little time as possible is the real problem. The girls can reject the guys, sure, but it's also very likely that the guys are rejecting the girls for their rates and limited menus and time. It's a two-way street. How these girls play the game, or rather how they're taught, has changed. Anyone who has been around longer than a few years, I think, can agree with this. A lot of the senior members here and on the other board who've been around the scene for a long time have stated so. So it ain't just me, others have noticed the change out there as well. I've never seen so many hot young girls standing around not getting into cars after so much interest at any point in strolls past. Never. That part is very interesting.

I've had guys tell me that I shouldn't ask for BB during the initial meeting, that I'm more likely to get it if I just don't say anything and wait until we get her to a spot. At that point she's already in deep so she's more likely to do it. But to me that's really pushing a boundary and coercion to the point that I'd feel uncomfortable doing so. I want to pick-up an SW who is willingly wanting to offer these things, not coerce anyone. So I probably eliminate myself by being upfront and asking for specifics at the initial meeting for that reason. But again I'd much much rather do that than twist her arm. She says no, we're done. Period, and i'd rather know that upfront.

Today Sunday drove around the motels and Lowes and up and down and not one single girl out. It was not this stuff never existed during my drive. Maybe the girls know home base is gone. If it's indeed gone it was an entertaining eye treat to escape boredom especially during those cold dark days.

I just drove through AA on my way back from somewhere and man it is dead dead dead out there. The only SW I saw was Candace walking up 96th (and there's no way I'm going to pick her up). Old-timers of the scene will know her. The parking lots of the motels are empty, no girls out front, no girls at Les Schwab, KK nor Lowe's nor remaining points north. Entirely, completely dead. Usually on Sunday late afternoons / evenings there are still a handful of girls out there, but today nothing. Really interesting. We'll see how this plays-out.

But I'll say that this is the same kind of bitchy entitled attitude I've been experiencing out there. It has nothing to do with how you're dressed, the kind of car you drive, etc. This is a great example of that and the point I've been making all along. Also, the banging on the taillight is another reason why I don't drive an expensive car out there. They'll trash that fucker if they can, all it takes is one girl getting sick and vomiting all over (which happened to someone I know), spilling a drink or some chick going on a rampage because she's not getting what she wants and kicking he dash, the windows or some other part of your car. Years ago when I was newer to the game some hooker tried kicking my windshield out and I had to subdue her and then roll the both of us out of the vehicle from the passenger side. Really bad scene, but I had to get her the fuck out and get out of there. I've been threatened with violence and damage to the vehicle. Do this long enough and that will happen.

That being said, I also went out a bit later just to see how things are with the changes lately. I saw the midget (Lisa?) standing on 90th for a long time. Quite a few girls working south of 90th during my time out. I got the feeling some of them had moved into the Oaktree. Word of caution on that from experience, but the manager at Oaktree will chase you out. I'd stay away from that place unless you want trouble. It's been a while but I don't think that's changed. Any girls who are working there will probably be tossed-out pretty quickly. But like always, we'll see how that goes. Only two girls working the Lowe's lot while I was out, the northend was pretty dead. I only did a few passes, but encountered an attractive WSW blonde, about 5' 7'' in a black minidress, late 20s named Tiffany. Up from Dallas, seemed confused as to what was going on up here and wasn't making any money. I thought initially that this would be good that they stopped standing in front of the motels and that they would be spread out etc. I quickly realize that this isn't a good thing though. At least for now? Maybe it will change. Because the Cali girls are all forced on blocks now, you can't really ascertain with certainty which ones are the Cali girls which equals more time wasted going up to girls since they don't do shit. And with the heat on the two motels currently, we may just see fewer of them in the future. It's my opinion that they've completely wrecked the ONLY remaining stroll in Seattle, what with their outfits, attitudes, rates, timers et cetera. Above all else, it's their refusal to be even a little discreet and worse yet, provide even a hint of service to their clients. They have the right to refuse, certainly, but it shouldn't be the standard business model.

I'd also love to see the return of some local, reliable providers out there. I'll say yet again that my best times over the years were on the Denny, but also on AA, back in the days when they dressed like civilians and were willing to climb in. Lashes, heels and nails were the exceptions. There was plenty in it for everybody. It worked and it worked well--for years. The older-timers on here will recall what I'm saying to be true. Yes, there were occasional problems. But now, problems are only the status quo out there.

I counted only 10 SWs out there on my way back through to home just past evening commute time. That's about 1/3 of the total I had been counting on a daily-basis prior to the situation with the motels. Girls from 137th to the southern reaches, just a thinned-out herd.
