Korean Bar Reports

I'm curious to get the thoughts and perspectives from you young and new to kb guys regarding Wanglung's post. Lots of good general advice by the vets and I hope Wanglung will read them. I couldn't answer cause to me his question was just too broad and could mean anything, from watching what goes on to actually participating in the 'games'. Also, if WangLung is a young guy, he may relate more to advice from other young guys. I learn all the time from young guys cause what us older guys think may not always be what relates and helps the young guys.

A few years ago, a member who didn't go hostess clubs asked those who did,"why do you go if play is not guaranteed?" Brothers answered honestly. I came across this video, the creator made funny videos for japanese language and culture. This was about hostess clubs. The person he interviewed answered honestly and was quite accurate. Or at least it hit a nerve with me. Now with that being said, I'm off to evergreen and pisces.

What they do is the bartender calls a girl for you if she see you looking and all. Then the girls comes over and you make small talk. In no time you buy her one drink, the girl just talks to you and when she finsh her drink she ask you to buy the bartender one drink yet she push her drink to get a second drink. Interesting or the bartender ask if you want to buy the girl another drink and nthe girl ask you to buy the bartended a GOOD LUCK DRINK, . It all goes hand in hand. What I do now is I try to drink up my 1st beer the bartender buys me then if I get a girl a drink they always buy me a 2nd drink cause I am emoty already. I know I know there drinks are 20 and my drink is ony 3. SO they always win.

[/QUOTE]The announcer is a strange (in a good way) dude. I agree with everything except the statement, sometimes you need to fill a void that your gf or wife can't. Problem with that is, most bar guys don't have gf's or wifes and they are trying to fill the void by looking for a gf or wife in the bars. Bad idea. Not trying to sound like I know it all. Just talking from past experiences. Got burned more times than I have fingers and toes. Learned the hard way. Small brain got hard, and girl got her way. Ran out of funds or she found another sucker with more cash, and I was back in the bars hunting again. Remember, fire is good to cook with, heat your water, light a candle, but if your play with it, you'll get burned. That's not a tan you see on my body, it's years of getting burned.

MOST GUYS DO HAVE A GF OR WIFE .

Its just something to do I guess. I used to go bars everyday with my friend cause I was divorce before. I stop cause I told my self do I want to be like that guy who is over 60 and still going to bars? Wow he catching his trills sitting with a young girl and all. But at the end he still has a hard on. True some guys just ngo to drink I can't speak for everybody. But most of the guys I know do have a GF or a wife. The girls at the bar can make FM "FuckenMagic" They can take you to NEVERLAND and all your dreams will come true. Then at the end you have to come back to REALITY. OUCH. But it is so true. As the saying goes better go to a AMP then a Bar. At least its a sure thing that you get a relief or used to be a sure thing. LOL

When I get free drinks or markers, I leave extra 3 or however many free plus tip. As for the girls that approach me at the bar, I usually decline politely. Being known as picky also helps as the junk ones usually don't try or give up quickly. They know better than to try the buy me, bartender, mama, freind etc gl drink. If you go bar even semi regulary, most girls in the bar know your spending habits even tho you never met them before. Its common they will remember you even after 10 years and you were never her customer. Even the new girls will get coached by the vet girls as to what kind customer you are and given intel about you or guess, usually corectly. I will however buy the bartender a drink or 2 if I get good service or if she is pleasant and interesting but not if half the bar is buying her drinks. I tip according to service / food so as to be fair but not the sucker 3 for 20 trade. I may not be popular with the typical bgs but I'm often looked on as a challenge for the better girls. Works for me anyway.

Dead everywhere!

Camelot, Moonflower was very slow, even had parking stalls in the parking lot. Some of Maya's gang out drinking at Moonflower.

Evergreen was closed. Earlier saw workers removing some counter and bar materials to the parking lot side.

Butterfly was a little better, but not much. Sara bartending in a low cut top was pretty interesting.

Twilight and Business was pretty bad. Since Business is a large bar you notice the emptiness more.

Sorry didn't check out Damour and Pharoah. Everytime I go to Pharoah they have a lot of Korean customers making noise.

Festival in Pearl Kai is a wasteland. A couple of old fuglies. None of the hose monsters from the past were there. How the owner makes rent is beyond me. VIP was ridiculous. One fat chick and a bar full of old guys talking amongst themselves. Not even going to mention Chance. Layout is such that there is no way to play.

Blue lights were very active on Kam Highway, which gave me incentive me to go home.

Went looking for Jessi, but she was off. In fact only had like 5-9 girls that I could see. In fact 1 looked like she just came from golf, so I don't know if she was working or just a customer. I did hear a girl's voice coming from the room right before the bathroom, but couldn't see inside so I'm not sure. The only good looking one was the bartender with short hair, but in my expereince the bartender is never fun to "sit" with as she is always busy. On a side not had some girls eating ika by the makaloa st entrance stinking up that whole area.

Playing both sides of the fence, trying to have their korean pancake and eat it too. Between kb stints, when I had normal relationships, I never went to the bars. Why would you, if you're getting it at home? Although I do know a few bar friends who married bar girls and I see them back drinking in the bars. When I ask them, what, not married anymore? They say, no still married, she just lets me go out if I want to. After the knot was tied, no sex, so she said go get your thrills in the bar if you want. Typical korean black widow trend. Marry for security, no give in to sex (probably getting some from a korean guy when he's at work) , no care if he plays in the bar because he has to come home or lose half his riches in a divorce. I tell them just divorce her and cut your loses. He says, no can. Does this sound familiar? Cannot cut loses. Cannot just let it go. It's the bar guys MO. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, neva listen to Uki and Oldee.

He gave her his business card and said if you want to take me to dinner, just call me. If you don't call then I know you only wanted a drink. Then he left. She came back in and stood by me and ask if she could have drink. I just said no thank you, I'm just looking. I should have took out my business card and said, if you want sex just call me. If you don't call then I know all you wanted was a neko. Would have loved to see her face when she went back to her friends and said, what the hell is this business card deal? Its just something to do I guess. [/QUOTE]I know of coworkers who are married with kids who go bars just to hang out. They have friends who go bars and they end up joining them. Some of their wives know they go bar to drink but, they don't really know what goes down in a hostess bar.

A few of the new bg's will approach, probably told by the oldtimers,"told you" after I politely decline their offer of me buying them a drink. Most consider me a "cheap charlie". I do make up any drink the bartender buys for me with a tip in kind plus the regular tip. Same with food (house pupus are a thing of the past).
