The problem with Hanna's is that they rotate girls too much and I've found that you can't call and ask if a favorite is working because the phone goes straight to voice mail. They don't realize that they are hurting any chances of repeat business. As a customer you'd like to know that when you get there your current favorite (s) are working and available. Otherwise it's a crapshoot. If you've got money to burn I guess that's okay. I've been in that position before where I could take one for the team, but after spending over $600 dollars on the new Army dress uniform with all its details and then having car repairs nearly $500 dollars, I could stand know that I'll get a good massage. Long story short, I'll stick with Rainbow for now.
I do enjoy going to RB once every few months so I am not super regular there and I can "this close" to going yesterday but I read about the bust and that things may be hit or miss there and I was in not mood to pay 80 for a massage I can get at the mall for 50. I visited the subject establishment early this evening. I had actually called to try to get into Bamboo in Concord, however, they said that no one was there and they would give me a discount to drive to Charlotte and I accepted (I was actually as close to it as to Bamboo anyway).
From what I could tell, there was only one attendant there (I think she said her name was Cindy). She had to be in her 50s but was friendly and very enthusiastic. She said she had only been in Charlotte for 2 months, but it had been longer than that since I had been there so I can't confirm. Overall a pretty decent experience. Bell rang one time during my massage and she left the room to answer. I didn't notice anyone else in the building as I left. My 1 hour session probably lasted around 50 minutes total (TS, Sauna, rub, etc.). The TS was one of the better ones I have had and she even did some Ashiatsu (walking on back). If only she was 20-30 years younger.

Needed some relief from the holiday so I decided to visit Lilly. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Mamasan greeted me at the window before I rang the bell to inform me that she only had one attendant, Jeannie, a name I have not heard, and I'd have to wait an hour. We chatted a bit and more bad news. No Nana, no Bebe, no Bonnie, all gone. All the recent attendants I've had lately, they won't be back.
I haven't been there for a while so I decided to check out Rainbow.
Stopped in and drew Lisa. Lisa's service is excellent. Not only did she help me dress, she also undressed me to start. Good TS, nice medium rub, and did not leave disappointed with the overall massage. She has a nice personality and speaks English very well.
The only problem is, she's going back to NY, too cold in NC she says.
I asked for Monica at first, and was told vacation. But to perhaps mollify me, when I was disappointed in her leaving, she told me that Monica would be there when I went back.

Paid a visit to Rainbow recently and was treated to L. I have had lots of AMP experiences and this one would rate right at the top. Even though L is not the most beautiful therapist I have seen, she certainly is not difficult to look at. In fact she has a real beauty about her. Outstanding shower and massage! She actually seemed to enjoy her work and take pride in what she was doing. After flip she was excellent in technique. Will hold details for PM. Finished with more massage. I timed this visit and actually had one hour and twenty minutes. Unheard of in most places. Charlotte is lucky to have her! As a side note. I saw another attendant (or maybe was mama, not sure) who had a face to die for! Didn't see her body. She just opened door and stuck face out. But what a beautiful face it was!
Some of those asian women are very easy to look at with their high cheek bones and smooth complexion for sure.

I went to S&P after a very dissapointing session with the so called Massage Goddess who advertises on CL. My experience at S&P is by far the most I have ever gotten at any AMP around this area. And it didn't cost me an arm and a leg either.

They advertise they offer a table shower, that is not true. You can take a shower there, but is just a plain ole shower where you do the scrubbing and drying off.
I too have tried the so called massage goddess. She is nice and polite, but will cheat you on the quality of you time by lining up massages on her cell phone while you lay there on her massage table unattended, leaving the room to talk on the phone while you lay there unattended, answering the door to talk to one of her children or the neighbor's children while you lay there unattended. She will cheat you on the amount of time by saying that another client is waiting in the parking lot and she needs to end the massage early. She then promises she will make it up to you on your next visit.
I would not have said anything at all and I would have given her the benefit of any doubt, but the posting that is quoted above erased those doubts. I suspect she has some bad business practices.

I stopped by Stacey's to scope things out. Quoted rates of 60 for 30 and 100 for an hour. There were 3 gals working, none of which I am sure I would be interested in but I was told I would get my choice of ladies. Prisilla and Tiffany greeted me. Both looked be in their 20's. P was overweight and T was not particularly attractive but appeared fairly petite. Both were dressed like they were "ready for buisiness". Maybe a good sign. Also, caught a brief glimpse of Stacey's head, who appeared much older. (late 40's maybe?) I asked if it was tip based and they replied "no, but we accept donations." Seems promising if the talent improves and our good Uncle leaves them alone.

Noticed in the arrest pics today in the paper that a provider from one of these places was busted (pardon the pun). If anyone sees the pic and knows where she worked, let us know!

I thought this was quite funny.
She wanted to give me a quick rub down before the TS to let the water get hot. I wanted her to know what I was there for and so I let my hands roam.
SM can PM for more details of what happened next but it was a first for me at any AMP in Charlotte that I experienced these two things. Before you get too excited I am not talking about FS. Had that many times at AMPs in Charlotte.

The real winner is on the dreaded " bacation ". I walked out on this one after the table shower! I could tell it was going to be a very lousy session. When I got back to the room, still soaked from the table shower, I had to dry myself off. She just stood there in the doorway looking at me. After I dried off, I started getting dressed. She just stood there, with a stupid look on her face. She finally asked what I was doing, I told her she was not very friendly, and I was going to leave. Then she started to cuss and rant, I just walked out. I told the mamasan, that she had a lousy attitude. She gave me a complete refund, and told me to come back tomorrow. I doubt that's going to happen!
Stopped by S&P yesterday around noon. The sign said OPEN but the front door (not the one with the buzzer) was locked. I called the numbers but simply got answering machines. Anyone know if it's still open or possibly I just came at a bad time.

Well whilst the girl who serviced me did not have a great attitude it was certainly nothing like you describe. She was more than friendly in the TS and well and truly towelled me down.
Having said that I don't think I will be revisiting as it seems I got lucky. With any of these reports though YMMV.

[/QUOTE]Well, I think she was pissed at me because I had asked for the girl I saw last time. I wouldn't have, for fear it wouldn't turn out good, but even before I asked, I got a vibe from her. I knew no matter what, it wasn't going to be as good as with Mona. She just wasn't as friendly from the second I saw her, like she wanted to be anywhere but at the spa.
From other reports, she is way too business like. Mona was almost GFE!

Friends: I am retiring, at least from work, and wanted to wish all of you the best. I have mongered since 1975, I think, and have enjoyed the ladies, mostly Korean, who franchised the AMP business model. I must admit I have fallen hard for one: those of you who remember C, from JC Spa, will somewhat understand why; stupid but I had no choice in the matter. Great girl, hey Tryon and Raven? We've been on and off for over 9 years; trips to Vegas, spending money at Nordstroms, living together, etc. Korean ladies (under 50) are fine, equisite women and fantastic lays but ever so hard to deal with. Ex-army wifes abandoned and some just greedy bitches. Poor undereducated minds hard to deal with and ultimately east does not meet west. But the good ones are so gorgeous! No regrets though. I'm leaving for the panhandle of Florida and intend to spend my retirement sampling whatever fine spas I can find. I have mongered in over 30 states for shit almost 40 years and the best was Hi, which is the Mecca of AMPs and Asian women. In fact, brothers, I 'm off to Hi next week. I may not survive. The Charlotte AMPs are so typically hit and miss, as we all know, but ever lady will do FS after a while if you treat her right. Treat them right. By the way, saw Abbie last week. Great as ever.
