I got a call back from Mekalia - an hour and 10 minutes after she told me me wait for her in the parking lot. Told me she was ALMOST there. That should have been my first warning.

This is very strange. I was thinking of calling her today. I didn't, but I noticed that I hadn't seen her ads recently, and as you remember, she posted them several times a day. Probably a coincidence, the "good provider going bad" scenario is so incredibly rare, it's almost a fairy tale. And with several positive reviews, you have to assume legitimacy. Plus, H's finest would be undercover in the case of a planned sting.

But, personally, in your case, I agree. I would have freaked out, immediately bailed out, and deleting all call history from my cell phone before I was at the first stoplight.
