Driving along 14th Ave b/w Market and 65th at about 5pm on Friday, then cut over to 15th along 60th when I came upon a late 20s-ish white gal standing in front of an apartment building smoking a cig. She gave me a wave as I passed and when I looked back while waiting at the stop sign she was looking in my direction. I didn't have time to stop, so only speculation. She did appear to be about 6-7 mos pregnant, but otherwise well proportioned body, dark hair.
Very peaceful only Daisy (overpriced and bitchy ). Has any one seen Anna?

I only get out on occasion but the last couple of times that I did I noticed that there are no girls out in AAA/Hostess on weekends except for after 1am. Then, you only have about a 15 minute window of opportunity before they vanish for good until next weekend. They are also really cautious and never get right in the car, they walk up close and look in the windows first and often they'll just walk away. It's just no fun anymore. I was seeing a few regular girls I've met up on Aurora, I'd just call them and we'd meet up, but they've since all flaked out or no-showed me so I don't call them anymore. One of the girls told me that some of the SWs were trying to start a new stroll on Westalke and along Lake Union, but that never took. Another told me that some girls were also walking along 1st Ave near the stadiums and down to Starbucks Corporate, I did see a couple from Backpage walking down there for a few weeks a few months ago but since then I think they gave up on that area.
The Fremont fleabag flop-house motel area of Aurora has picked up but those girls are no fun either. I saw two girls who are running ads on Backpage in that area, Amy and Jen. They are nice looking girls and the pictures in their ads are accurate but when they get in the car you can tell that they are going downhill fast due to drugs. In their ads they list their location as 45th & Aurora and I knew I was going to run into them. Both of them are also hustlers and although they are nice they really don't like doing the act. I kicked one of them out and I don't see them anymore. Also, don't give them your number because they will call you constantly no matter what time it is.
It's no fun.
The only place I've seen anyone is around the hoverpass. And they're all used up dried beef jerky.

My wife and I were sitting in a restaurant along Aurora somewhere about 150th. A woman, mid-20's good-looking, hwp brunette with purple streaks in her hair is walking past our window. Sorry in advance for the blog, but I'm interested in the sharing of wisdom from the more experienced here.
I've always thought of pooning as the act of patronizing providers (for their time and companionship of course) and mongering as more specific to the street. I've been pooning for a long time (local veterans would know well my handle - as I do theirs - on local boards) but am newer to the street scene.
There are pros and cons to both of course. Pooning is much more relaxed and can be more like a 'real' experience while mongering seems more about the thrill of the hunt. The physical encounter when mongering is typically (in my experience anyway) rushed and awkward and I find myself constantly looking over my shoulder. Pooning is much more expensive than mongering. The rush when you make a pickup is like nothing I have ever experienced before and is quite addictive. A recent close shave whilst mongering has caused me to take a step back, though I'm still out looking but quite reticent to actually make a pickup. Haven't since that day.
Admittedly, I'm still somewhat in the honeymoon stage of my mongering career, where the mere fact that one can engage in such activities is mindbogglingly exciting. I went through this same stage in the early pooning days but have since become much more selective and patient often to the point of going without when I really don't feel like going without.
The risk element of pooning seems much more regulate-able than that of mongering. Unmarked cars, set-ups, stings and LE's penchant for hassling those who partake in this pursuit largey harmless endeavor make the likelihood of getting caught exponentially greater than when pooning, and if one has anything to lose by getting caught this could be almost enough to keep one from mongering entirely. However, the desire for the excitement remains. You can be smart and careful, but there are still uncontrollable wild-cards that could turn on you in a flash. Is there any way to protect ones self from these?
It's interesting how, after reading through much of the material here, there is much knowledge to be practiced. You learn to spot the other mongers, and by watching them you can learn not to exhibit behaviors that make you obvious. Rubbernecking, stupid u-turns, slamming on the brakes. We've all seen it. What the hell are those guys thinking? Another one I recently understood was don't pick up the ones that look too obvious. I watched someone pick up one of these and get pulled over.
There are a couple of things I ponder as I'm driving the strolls. One is, I REALLY need to find a 'spot' or two. Where the hell can one go after making a lady's acquaintance on the street that is safe from prying eyes and the constabulary? I keep thinking that if I could solve this problem the actual encounter would be much more enjoyable and I could relax and enjoy at least a little if the lady were willing. I wouldn't be so stupid to ask for specific spots, but can anyone give me some pointers on things to consider? My time to play is typically during daylight hours which complicates things. I know that away from the stroll, non-residential areas, places where you can't be surprised are some considerations, but I'll be damned if I've had any luck finding one. I've been in the woods, parking lots, garages etc. but none of these are very conducive to a relaxed encounter and I'm always only half concentrating on the fun parts, with the other half looking over my shoulder. will it always be like that? Where to go?
Does LE keep tabs of vehicles who travel frequently (legitimately or otherwise) in strolling areas? Do they run plates of these vehicles and watch out for them or make contact with the owners just because they drive these areas? There are tens of thousands of vehicles who travel these areas repeatedly on a daily basis. Could they possibly be able to pick one out of a crowd if you're not being an idiot in your habits and behaviors?
I've had some fun out there for sure. Met one lady who I saw a couple of times. She had a private, non-car location (I know, risky, but I took some precautions) that made it possible to enjoy things and she seemed to enjoy things as much as I did. Donation was damn cheap, and the experience much more like pooning than mongering. And she was cool to talk to. Sadly, she seems to have vanished as I suppose they all do sooner or later. I would have been happy to see her regularly. Had couple of nasty dates too where all I wanted to do was douse myself in rubbing alcohol after the drop. Most were in the middle though, with both parties in full understanding of the circumstances and doing their parts in a reasonable manner.
I've looked at thousands of the pictures on this board. Lots of pretty seamy stuff. Seem to be lots of guys doing BB on some pretty skanky ladies and some of them look like they have damn sad stories to tell. Makes you think. Obviously there's a different sort of morality (on multiple levels) that comes into play that we each address in our own way.

There's an asian on the north stroll who goes by Niki. Decent face, flabby body hidden under a baggy T. Don't do it! Pretty nasty, paranoid and a pretty bad attitude.
I saw a new one (to me) near the hoverpass yesterday. Tiny little spinner with frizzy/curly light-reddish hair. Damn cute, but pretty young looking. I'm 90% certain she was working and would have been fun to grab were I not still in paranoia mode. Would have been worth of an ID check.
Does she sound familiar to anyone?
Sorry again for the lengthy treatise, just been thinking a lot about the whole thing and would love to hear what some of the old-timers have to say. If it weren't for what I've learned here I probably wouldn't be writing this, and I thank you all for that.

I had a few pickings on 99 last week and reported here, but the last few days I drive throgh the area a few times at different times of the day and no luck.
Where else should I be looking?
If you cruise long enough then chances are the cops have run your plate and entered you into their local DB. The cops may try and stop you for broken light bulb. Or the cop might simply try and pull your depending upon what mood they are in. The cops will pull you over if they see you pick up a SW. But the cops usually let you off with a warning.
Locations:
When you pick up a SW always drive a good distance from where you pick up a SW. Try and drive on empty residential streets and find a area where you can enter from one direction. The advantage here is that it makes it very difficult for the cops to follow you. The other thing is that it there is less cross traffic driving through.

Well, actually they do call it pooning (they also call it the hobby), but that's only the polite folks. I've been doing it for years, but as I said, I'm new to the SW scene. No LE here, but not sure what I can do to convince you otherwise. I have a different handle on the poon boards which is why I said you'd recognize it. I'm trying to keep the two worlds seperate hence a new handle here, although a hint would be that my other handle is somewhat synonymous with this one.
I read through all the old info/pics here to try to get up to speed with what goes on here and also I like naughty pictures.

I had an account here years ago but had no idea what the login was anymore so started anew because this is pretty much the only place there's any info on the street scene which I only in the last months have had the nerve to explore.
I've met Kitty, I've met the girl with the scar on her face (who says she got it from a monger), I've met Rain, I've met Leggs, Asian Nikki (warned you about her below) a couple others if that helps with the confidence factor. I mean really, most posters recently have few posts too. The guys I rely on for good beta are guys like Civ and quackman who I know from the other places.
