Unfortunately She was picked up on the last big ICE raid and deported.
Wow! Where did you find this information? Is this true?
That's odd. I saw her eating dinner with a younger man at Millions Korean Restaurant on Kapiolani a few weeks ago.
That's odd. I saw her eating dinner with a younger man at Millions Korean Restaurant on Kapiolani a few weeks ago.
This ice raid occurred a few days ago.
So the ice raid and deportation occured a few days ago, fast tracking through all legal due processes? That seems odd.
So the ice raid and deportation occured a few days ago, fast tracking through all legal due processes? That seems odd.
It's part of nationwide mass deportation including Hawaii. Thousands have been arrested and deported per Trump's plan.
Unfortunately She was picked up on the last big ICE raid and deported.
She has been a US Citizen for over 20 years. To date from January 21st to this moment, no Green Card holders have been a target either.
That may be true. But as others have said, Junko is a well established American citizen, was married to an American, and owns several condos in Hawaii. I doubt she was deported.
Unfortunately She was picked up on the last big ICE raid and deported.
Can you provide proof of this?
Unfortunately She was picked up on the last big ICE raid and deported.
I call BS on this -.
I call BS on this -.
I second that. These initial rounds are the illegals who already had deportation orders and did not leave, still here. Convicted of crimes.
I guess they also going after illegal aliens here in general, but priority is the criminals.

All 20 failure to appears we issued at least 12 months ago with simultaneous removal orders. Illegal entry is actually a crime unless they can get an amnesty judgement. Failure to appear is also a crime. Sp yes they were criminals.
Unfortunately She was picked up on the last big ICE raid and deported.
Mr Wobbles, you have been a member for a long time with little posts, can you write back to us on how a USA Citizen get deported on an ICE raid. Where would she be deported to, her former shop on University Ave. ?

The Star Advertiser article says the DEA was involved. Interesting.

As you can see I was not making this information up. I have known her for many years.
Who's that girl in the black-and-white flowery dress? Is that Junko?
Yes. Bad pic no makeup.

Well if she really owned a few condos there is a paper trail there of money moving around which isn't legal money, she must have been on their radar for a while. She only working part time as a provider I don't think that is what got her on their list to be 1 of 20 deported. That also doesnt mean they could start targeting providers in the future just I dont think thats what his was for now.

This only happens under extreme circumstances of illegal activity. I don't think being a provider would deem to be extreme illegal activities. Perhaps she had several arrests in the past and skipped court hearings? This would cause a warrant. She's a nice person who doesn't hurt others and lives a simple life. This could make her a low hanging fruit for ICE to get a hold of and show the trump administration that Hawaii is doing its part in this situation. Now we can only hope they go after harder to find criminals.
She has a long court record 90% traffic tickets and parking tickets. At least 1 DUI. Divorced twice. Most recent husband is some kind of union labor rep at Hilton Hawaiian Village. He filed in May and I think its over. So no husband to anchor her down. Considering he was married to a notorious prostitute with no license, he probably turned her in.
Its not BS. As you can see by the News links now provided. Its very unfortunate though! She is super nice.
Stand corrected, thanks for the info. Too bad.
Sucks for her and her customers. Seen her age as 62 online.
I have no idea how or why they deport. People. Apparently people with felony arrest records were also targeted. As you can see I was not making this information up. I have known her for many years.
Are related to felony more than we think.
Pimping (owner and mamas) is felony. Money laundering or tax issue is another common charge on shady business. And immigration fraud is another common thing. Will not say which one. But in my knowing, late Chanel was related to fake green card marriage too.
Prostitution is not felony itself but it can be reason of discharge in immigration law cause it is considered "immoral".
The article mentioned the assistance by DEA in her arrest. I wonder why they got involved?
Not uncommon for other federal agencies to assist in these types of operations as they would prefer to leave the local PD's out of it. I believe DEA is assisting in most areas around the country.
As an aside. For all the Mongers who have previously said that Junko is in her 30's or 40's, here's proof that she is much older. She's in her 60's. Just pointing this out for all the young Mongers who read reviews on this forum expecting to see a provider reported to be young but who is in fact much older.

I've seen that before when husband and immigrant wife have issues. He will turn her in. She appears to be a bad driver with all those tickets.
