Was bored Saturday night and decided to do the stroll. 2:00am 8 & Jr saw 3 WSW ranging from 4 to 6 on SW scale. Also saw loads of LE parked all over the place, decided to split. Hit the 8 & gratiot area around 3:30. To my surprise there were about five SW's out there, 4WSW and 1BSW. 3 of the WSW were at least 7's on the regular scale. One of them very pretty a 9 with slender body nice hips and chest. Almost too pretty to be a regular SW but did get picked up by mongers. Did not partake myself, earlier LE shined their spotlight on my car as they passed by, must have seen me do a turn around to get a better check on the gals and I got spooked.

I was in the mood for BSW this Sunday evening, and I was really disappointed! All WSW's. There were no less than 4 between 8 mile and just south of Seven mile on John R.

I was being picky. Any digits for a BSW would be great.

Here's the "executive summary." :) Thanks to WarPig and Amp Middleman for their suggestions, much appreciated.

There are two types of chat lines that I've used: 1) the "live" chat, and 2) "messages". Some (including one of the two that I've used) are a combination of both. I've used LiveLinks (live chat) at 700-210-1010 and LavaLife (messages and live chat) at 313-406-7475. Both lines will provide you with local numbers to call and both (if memory serves me correct) give you free time as an incentive to start. There are more available than that, look in the Free Press or Detroit News classified ads (section 120, "Dating Services"). My comments about format, prompts, etc pertain to those two lines. Other lines can/will vary in their setup.

The basic idea of each: you listen to a woman's greeting and then send her a reply. She can then reply to your message. You trade messages back and forth, getting a "feel" for each other and what each of you are looking for. You can't post phone numbers in your greetings, but you can exchange numbers while trading messages. You can send and receive messages to as many women as you want to in both formats, at the same time (altho if a woman is popular, she might not get to your message for a while). Same goes for you, if you have "game", you might have several messages to page through while listening to greetings.

Each format provides for a "greeting" (1-5 minutes, depending on the format) that you listen to and respond to. In live chat, you're paying for the entire time you're on the line, including the time you listen to and respond to greetings. In message format, you only pay for the time you create/send messages to, and receive messages from women. The women in live chat are more or less segregated by location (Detroit, and "outside", i.e. the rest of Michigan, and Toledo). The women in the message line are segregated by what they're looking for (intimate encounters, dating, long-term, "safe sex", D/B, etc) and location.

If you want that "quickie" pickup, live chat is the way to go most of the time, there are more "instant" encounters available there. If you have time to cultivate something longer-term, the messages are better. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Some hints for both:

1) learn the keypad "prompts" for each by heart. You'll learn to move quickly through the greetings and save yourself time. These lines (especially the live chat) are NOT CHEAP.

2) Think about what you want to record as a greeting. It helps to write it out and then read it, instead of spontaneously coming up with one. BE A BIT CREATIVE. The women hear "this is your boy", "wassup", etc, ad nauseum. State what you're looking for, but don't be crude, and try to display a sense of humor.

3) Be truthful when someone does contact you. If you're attached, say so at the git-go. If you're overweight, balding, etc, and you're asked to provide a description, be honest.

4) Both the live chat and message lines have "direct connect") i.e., talk one-on-one capability). When in direct connect, you won't get messages from other women. So...keep the connection short, cuz it'll cost you big $$ to talk to one woman for any length of time. Give her a couple minutes, feel each other out, and then politely suggest trading phone numbers (I often tell her that for her comfort level, if she wants to call and block her number, that'd be fine. That provides them with the same "security" that she gets from direct-connecting with you). If she doesn't want to trade numbers, politely dump her.

I think I found my new ATF; my best dream in a long time. Melissa on Gratiot near Party store across from hospital by State Fair. Just some random comments, to enlarge on what I wrote before.

I haven't completely broken the code on what the woman really want when they post a greeting. You hear everything from "just looking for a friend" to "generous male wanted" to an outright "escort looking to play". Sometimes it tough to know exactly what they want. Exchange some messages with her to feel her out, and as I've mentioned, maybe "direct-connect" for a couple of minutes. If after a couple of minutes, you haven't exchanged phone numbers, dump the direct connection and move on, you could be missing messages from other women. Be polite and talk/exchange messages as though you were face-to-face with her. I've heard from a lot of women that they get a lot of "baby, ya wanna hook up and fuck" messages right from the git-go, and even if that's what they're looking for, they like men to be a bit more subtle and polite than that. (Of course, there are a few that want that and make no bones about it...no worries about having to be subtle lol).

The "live chat" lines, as I've mentioned, are more conducive to quick hookups. On Livelinks, I've heard as many as 120+ on the line at night, and as few as 12 in early morning (usually around 8).

On the other hand, the "message" lines take more time to cultivate a meeting. LavaLife does have a direct-connect feature, but I've found that there are fewer women on line at any one time than on the "live" chat lines.

Now, some stories...I've met a number of women from both lines, and they ranged from sexy slender to bbw. Some were looking for play-to-play with no strings, some were needy looking for help and a continuing relationship, and a few were looking for extra-marital "fulfillment." I'd say 90% of themhad some sort of ongoing and significant drama in their lives, which is something you have to be prepared to deal with.

For example...I met one woman on LavaLife who seemed perfectly suited for an ongoing steady gig. She was divorced but living with her ex to take care of their three kids (I verified that, she showed me the divorce decree), she was available during the day (mom could babysit), she lived nearby, and she was a MILF if I ever saw one. She fucked like a rabbit, kissed like an angel, only asked for a few bucks once in a while to get stuff for the kids and for the fridge (hubby was in a low-paying job), and was content with the way things were going. However, I eventually discovered she had emotional issues (I think she was mildly bipolar), and her family was in and out of trouble with the law, to the extent that she asked me for $$ to help bail mom outta jail. After I helped her with that and a couple of other things, she started to become more unavailable and ask for more and more money, to the point where I had to finally say "no". She then started threats of extortion (reveal us to my wife...unfortunately, one of our sessions had been at home...lesson learned there lol), and I had to threaten her with prosecution if she did (MCL 750.213, if you guys ever have to refer to it). Fortunately, she made those threats via phone texting and voicemail, so I had something to fall back on. She eventually apologized and has left me alone since.

Met another woman in Toledo whom I talked to on LiveLinks, who proved that you have to take what these women say with a grain of salt (sometimes a whole shaker lol). She said she was staying with a friend and described herself as "slightly overweight". I thought "what the heck", I was free that afternoon and at loose ends. I should have figured something was amiss when the directions she gave me were contradictory, and when I called her to clarify them she got bent outta shape that I wasn't finding the place. She eventually gave the phone to her "friend", who promptly corrected the directions I'd been given (shoulda been a left turn instead of right at an intersection). Well, she was overweight, all right...she barely fit into the front seat of my small truck. Found out over lunch that she was homeless, she'd driven up from Cinci to get with her brother and find a place to live, but her car had broken down around Lima and when she finally got to Toledo, her brother wouldn't answer her repeated calls (wonder why?). She went back three times for more chow at the Chinese place I took her to and talked continually about her problems. After we left (didn't take long, I'd long resolved to myself that THIS meeting would be the only one), she asked for $20 for bus fare so she could go back to Cinci, get her 10 year old son, and come back up so we could "start a relationship." Whew. Never answered her phone calls after that. I felt kinda sorry for her, she was obviously having trouble coping with life (the "friend" she was staying with was actually someone the Salvation Army had referred her to!), but t'weren't up to me to save her.

Comments about precautions apply. If it's a short-term thing, don't bring her to your living quarters. If it's gonna be a long-term fling, don't bring her till your "spidey senses" tell you that it's going to be OK, and even then, don't be in a hurry to bring her over.

Use of a non-contract cell phone is absolutely needed. Metro PCS gives unlimited texting and calls for $50/month, no phone bill involved, no contract (it's month to month). Sure, it doesn't work outside of the SE Michigan area (altho for you Toledo guys, there is reception most of the time in parts of the city), but it's worth it. I've made a couple of connections outside the area, and I set up times/dates ahead of time and then confirm enroute with a phone card on a pay phone, like the cards you can get off the rack at Kroger. They hose you for units when you use a pay phone, but when confirming, you don't have to talk long.

Another story...I got on LiveLinks late one nite after getting off work and got into an exchange of messages with a woman who was "camping out" in her back yard with a female friend (it was a holiday weekend). She sounded real happy (she'd been drinking), and we "clicked" pretty nicely. We finally exchanged phone numbers, hers was a 616 area code (Grand Rapids)...and she said she was soooooooooooo sorry I was on the other side of the state...she giggled that she was horny and looking for a hookup that night with a nice, decent older guy...and that I fit the bill, except for being where I was...damn the bad luck!

Another story...I connected on LiveLinks with a woman who eventually offered $100 for "pay to play." When I got there, it was obvious that she was extremely nervous and not used to doing that sort of thing. I felt sorry for her, so I left her a few bucks to "help with the rent" and stayed in touch with her. Eventually helped her with rent a couple more times while she "looked for work". That was a mistake (lesson learned...if you give them money, don't have any expectations of getting it back). She turned out to be a liar and a bit of a schizo, and I didn't get much in the way of sex from her. She admitted that some of the money I gave her went to pot and pills (and I even, unwittingly, gave her rides to her connections...she said she was repaying $$ that she had borrowed, when in fact she was 'scoring'). I occasionally get a voice mail from her now, and I just ignore it.

Good experiences? Well, Forever Det may remember Nicole, a short, petite gal who had a greeting on LavaLife. She had 3 kids and was trying to get back on her feet and was doing "pay for play." She was nice-looking and sweet, and I saw her once...for $80 she was a great time. She disappeared after that, she'd said she was trying to move downriver, get regular employment again, and resume a normal life. I hope she did...never did hear from her again.

Been away for a little while, just caught up on your chat post. Looks like they have been successful & challenging. I havn't been on the lines for a good while, guess the urge faded. But with the on coming cold weather I think I might try it again. And if you should meet a female who can fit into your pick-up without bending the frame:), looking for generous benifactors let me know.
