CLEVELAND, TX (KTRK) -- A Cleveland High School theater arts teacher is due in court this week after being arrested on prostitution charges. She was one of four women arrested during a sting.
A theater arts teacher at Cleveland High School, Laurie Lewis may have been leading a secret double life. While Lewis was an educator by day, Houston police say the 38-year-old divorced mother of two worked as prostitute at night, advertising on backpage.com using the name Victoria.
HPD's vice squad busted Lewis during a prostitution sting at an upscale downtown Houston hotel.
Houston Police Captain Bruce Williams explained, "She was asked to meet the detectives at that location in a specific room number. When she entered that room, the deal was done."

Authorities say Lewis solicited an undercover officer in an online chat room for escorts. She allegedly offered to have sex with the vice officer for $300 when they met up at the Four Seasons Hotel. Police don't think this was her first time, but wouldn't elaborate.
"That, of course, is still under investigation to determine how many times subsequent to this arrest she may have been involved," Capt. Williams said.
Our attempt to reach Lewis this weekend was unsuccessful. Her brother told us he wasn't aware of the allegations. She's currently on paid administrative leave from job at Cleveland High School as administrators will soon decide her fate.
Cleveland ISD Superintendent Kerry Coward said, "We are very disappointed. Ms. Lewis worked for the district for two years in a position of great responsibility. The district will not accept this type of behavior from an educator or an employee."

Man I wish I had teachers like that in high school. Man teachers hooking on the side or the ones that sleep with their students. What I wouldn't give to be back in HS!
Buford Highway Twin Theater -long version
Obviously, for a horny straight guy, visiting an adult theater does not begin to compare to mongering on the streets or hitting MPs. If mongering is like doing shots of tequila, going to the theater is like sipping beer. But it has its moments. I visit the Buford Theater because it fits my current budget and time availability. After many years of steady and sometimes reckless street mongering in Atlanta, I’ve become less tolerant of the risks. I’ve had some great exciting times in the theater. I’ve even gotten to know some of the couples by name and enjoyed some out-of-theater experiences. Sometimes those moments are spaced pretty far apart however.
Occasionally I reply to ads from couples and the rare single woman (more likely actually a fat bald dude) on Craigslist with the boilerplate copy below. I've edited it and pasted it here (in brackets) to be more like a generic review:
[Most couples and guys (and a few single women) visit the Buford Highway Twin Theater to have forbidden fun, to show off or watch others doing the same. Some people come to meet or make new connections and new friends. It's quicker and more anonymous than Craigslist or swinger clubs because visitors can simply observe the others until they are ready to join in, or simply leave if they are not interested. No making excuses to exit an arranged date at a club, hotel or bar. Also, anyone can just drop in without making plans. It's popular for people visiting from out of town. Sometimes juiced couples will stroll over from one of the 2 strip bars next door, Roosters or Shooters for some semi-public fun. There are those who visit regularly, those who come only on occasion and those who are once and done. Here’s the scoop:
There are 2 screens, both show medium-quality XXX straight films, usually not the headliner adult flicks. Admission is $13, which allows up to 3 re-entries for those who need to leave to smoke, eat, or the lucky ones who might return for more after leaving with someone they picked up. Some singles and couples use the theater to rendezvous after meeting online. Couples are admitted free to theater #1 only. Theater #2 is where most of the gayness happens, although straights, gays, couples and undecided are free to visit either theater.
Theater #1 is where couples visit to be near other couples and single guys. Couples are welcome to sit wherever they like. In addition, there is a section for couples only, which provides a "safety zone" where single guys can't enter. The couples section is six rows of six seats across at the front of the theater in the main section from the left aisle. It's not physically separate, but it is a designated "island" for couples. Single guys are permitted to sit in those rows up to the edge of the section (seat seven) to be near, but out of touching range.
Some couples come simply to see XXX on big screen and save their resulting excitement for later. Some couples like to play a little (or a lot!) in their seats, enjoying attention from the voyeurs. Some couples like to sit near other couples to share their visual and/or physical experience. Some like to be at the edge of the couples section close to the guys in the seventh seat of those rows. And some couples enjoy the thrill of sitting in the unrestricted sections, which will attract the single guys happy to participate if invited.
The single guys in theater #1 are mostly there to watch or participate as couples have fun. Any couple entering the theater, whether young or older, large or smaller, white, black, other, or mixed will attract attention of the guys (and other couples). Since guys want to sit near couples, guys will migrate towards a couple. Most of the single guys are respectful of couples. Frankly, many couples thrill at the closeness of strangers, be it at the edge of the couples section or in the open section of the dark theater. Playing a little (or a lot!) in the theater is a good thing. If necessary, a calm "no touching" to the guys sets the limits.
Some couples want no limits. Rarely does management mind the activity if a couple stays in their seat, or almost in their seat, or in their partner's seat! However, the manager frowns on people standing in the rows or aisles or crowding around the "action". The manager will use his flashlight to disperse people caught standing or crowding. Single guys caught encroaching into the couples-only section are dismissed for the day.]
Upsides: Hot fun sometimes, easy, cheap, relatively safe, burns no gas, no geeked hos and thugs. You might get to perform like a porn star, with an audience.
Downsides: Low success rate for single straight guys, pissy-mood staff, too many guys, too few women, time consuming. You might have to perform like a porn star, with an audience.
