Its frickin unbelievable.

It's hit or miss. Some hostesses play and some don't. As a general rule, there's more play at Viet bars than Korean ones, but even that's not universal or guaranteed. If the hostess does play, you can typically expect to spend $$$+ on top of however many drinks you have, and however many "buy me drinkee's" you get sucked er, suckered into buying your temporary companion. There are cheaper hostess bars out there, London Hub being a prime example, but they're about to change owners next month and all bets are off.
It's expensive, but is it worth it? Depends on how rich you are! ;) It also depends on whether you're after a guaranteed result or whether you're into "the thrill of the chase" as they say. The AMPs are absolutely the best bang for your buck, but I used to like the bars every now and then just for a change of pace back when my finances permitted.

There is no guarantee you will get anything at a kb or vb. Right now, the girls are afraid of LE and getting busted but they are good at draining your wallet by making you think you will get some. Since you aren't a regular the girls will always be afraid that you could be a new LE so you shouldn't expect to get any action until you spend a lot of bucks over a period of time or be a regular over a year or more.
There was a time years ago when some girls would provide services but with the crackdown at bars that doesn't happen anymore. IMHO, don't waste your money as it is all a game with them, to get your money by making you think that you will get some.

You guys gave some funny answers...Actually I was hopin to get some action without shelling out serious cash since I'm a cheap bastard. One of these hotties is my neighbor living in a million dollar condo, driving a brand new Mercedes and she's only 23. So she must be good at what she does. ;-)
I didn't know what she did for work until recently, so when she told me to meet her at work (VB) I was immediately skeptical. So after I told her I'd like to meet her on her day off and never heard back, well, that's my answer. She's a pro.
