Big Brother is indeed watching, because I've been noticing a disturbing trend of ****** I have seen showing up in my FaceBook "People you may know".

My facebook profile doesn't have my phone number, I don't use it ever for mongering, I've never used my personal email to contact a *****. Yet they randomly show up.

I've even recently had a ***** I saw 8 years ago in California show up there. So if you have a wife who checks that shit you might want to be wary. I don't know by what means they do this or how.

This happening to anyone else?

I had 4 so far, all of which I requested to be friends with. All but one accepted. Like by you, one was from 6 years ago. She is now married and has kids. It don't bother me and if you have a wife looking at the "People you mnay know" posting on fb, there are hundreds out there. How could she posibly think anything of that? Bill Ho.

I didn't friend any of them. None of my personal phone or email was ever used for the hobby and ones from other states predate Facebook. Just weird.

I figured out years ago to create a double identity and more than one Facebook page. No way I want my friends and family seeing all the "girlfriends" I have known. You would be surprised how many become reformed and find monogamy, it is just a game to them as well. Once they land a sucker to support whatever habits they have, they settle down. But I have also seen them return to the hobby if a relationship or a job is lost. Backpage is full of broken dreams.

One of your buds is a hobbyist and you may not know it.

Sure google and plenty of online sites may have access to this and that which you think is secret but which isn't, but facebook doesn't. Not really. Only what you tell it, what you send from your email / phone, and any third-party cookies it can see.

It could also be that the ladies look you up. If they have your full name or email, I wouldn't put it past them to snoop. That would let facebook tie one account to another.

And of course there's geography. Not counting the ladies, I bet 1% of the people you "might know", without having emailed / called, you do actually know just because you've seen them.

All the above is speculation.

I can't tell you how many times I've been chillen on FB and see a "People you may know" who is a BP girl. Turns out she's friends with my cousin and is my cousins-friends-sister.

No idea on their exact relationship or how close they are but the link of my cousin and this BP girl remains. Thus showing up in my "People I may kno" I've had some of my better female friends have BP girls as friends. Saw one the other day and had to ask our mutual friend who she was. Turns out we went to middle school with her. (the provider) It's just too easy to make connections and track things etc these days. The world is getting really small LOL.
