It was a joke. A funny! A wee bit of sarcasm attached to a touch of Ha, Ha, with a little tee, hee, haw; thrown in for good measure.
My comment was a sardonic joke too, but you seem to take everything I say seriously, or, rather, you just choose to do so when it suits you. Everything is laughable when you want to slip by it, and serious when you want to pounce on it. It is your MO. Like when I jokingly suggested we "get married," and you quoted it out of context and jumped all over it, as if my comment were serious, and I was somehow deranged for making it.
What IS serious and evident, is that you have a big chip on your shoulder where I am concerned. You partially let that cat out of the bag when you jealously complained about my post count. I couldn't care less if my post count were reset to zero. I would be glad to do so if I had the power. It means nothing to me. But it evidently is something important to you, or you wouldn't have mentioned it.
You are hypocritical when it suits you as well. You complained that I posted some pics and a report that was a month out of date, and said you like to report things freshly when they happen, and then you started to post stuff that is a year old? WTF!
You are also replying in your own thread to my comments, and I can only guess what is up with that. You don't do that for any other thread comments, just mine. I have no choice. This is the only place I can comment. What's your excuse other than that you feel a bizarre compunction to mimic my restriction?
As much as we have crossed swords in the past, and sometimes over some very silly issues, I like and respect you CookyJar. You have an enviable history as a valuable contributor to the Philly and Camden forums. You were an inspiration when I first joined this site to produce comparable SW photojournalism. BUT...you seem to have a sick need to want to lob a grenade my way every now and then just to see what happens.
You don't need to step on my face, or to denigrate me to elevate yourself. It only detracts from your reputation. The flame wars that sometimes erupt between us are of no particular interest to any other members of this forum. They would prefer that we stick to doing what we do best: writing reports and taking pics. So, let's agree to play nice and not sweat the small stuff.
