One reason the streetwalkers are few and below average looking, atleast outside Waikiki, is that the AMP scene in town is outstanding.\! Unless a guy wants cheap and risk of sub-standard service, I suggest you go to the AMPs. Much safer, much cleaner and most likely much, much better service. Will cost a bit more, but worth it IMHO

Both styles of mongering have their advantages.

Of course, I agree that patronizing AMPs is much easier, safer, and more sanitary, and that AMP providers are most often more physically attractive. For guys who consider beauty to be essential, or who are risk averse, or who don't have sufficient time to spend fully exploring the downtown scene, or who have difficulty finding downtown providers, I highly recommend AMPs. First, in the past there have been LE "sting" operations on both sides of Aala Street. Second, LE sting operations on either side of Aala Street, and also on a portion of North Kukui Street, can easily be located within 750 feet of a boundary of Beretania Community Park, which increases the offense to a full misdemeanor. (Just providing some information, not trying to discourage anyone from enjoying that area.)
