I went to Mardi Gras late on a recent Saturday night, for the first time in quite a while. The first thing that I noticed was that the cover charge was $7. 00 (I remember when it was $3. 00). The next thing that I noticed was the constant police presence (I think that there were two there the whole time, unlike in the past where I just recall them stopping in and wandering through a couple times per night). Not too many sketchy characters there though, perhaps thanks to the police. And I quickly forgot that the police were there. Beers were like $5. 00 + tip, which I think is reasonable. There were plenty of extremely hot girls dancing. There were also quite a few hot female patrons, maybe because there is not much else to do w/ so many bars on Worthington being closed now! I took a seat at the stage. I recall reading a post stating that there were signs stating that the minimum tip was now $2. 00. I saw no such signs, but did note that the standard tip seemed to be $2. 00 (although some were still tipping the traditional $1. 00). I also recall reading something somewhere sort of implying that the girls were not taking off their bottoms, but from what I saw most were (although there were admittedly a few who did not). Several nice ladies danced for me at the stage. For a couple of reasons I did not partake in any private dances, but would appreciate hearing what the scoop is w/ those these days ($25. 00/ song, I think) and also what the scoop is w/ the champagne room/ lounge upstairs these days.

There was a bathroom attendant, which I do not remember from past visits, and which I find to be annoying. That was one thing that I always hated about the Gold Club in Hartford. Toward the end of the night I had finished my drink at the stage and had planned not to have another when the bartender told me that I had to drink if I was sitting at the bar (stage), which I also found to be annoying.

In summary, Mardi Gras still provides a top notch experience and I will continue to go there when able.

First time posting in a long time. For what its worth I used to be a trusted senior on the CT boards when work unfortunately caused me to move to a part of NE where the hobby is virtually non-existent. That being said, I occasionally pass thru Springfield on biz, and tonight was an example. Probably cruised for a solid 90 mins and saw a variety of shapes and sizes. Think I saw 3 bsw, 1 hsw, and 4 wsw, none worth writing home about but still a solid # based on what I've read below as of late. Lot of LEO out, one of whom even was questioning a wsw at one point. At the end of my hunt, I came across what I perceived to be a hot bsw and a skinny gay looking blaxk dude with a red MJ-style glove on. He was too gay to be her pimp so I pulled aside and as they walked by she acknowledged me. I called out "just you" and motioned w my head to turn down the next corner, she had her cell out, and I had oibserved this from afar on a couple previous passes. She came no more than 20 ft to the car and asked what I wanted. I told her directions to 91 and she started to explain and inch closer. She continued to text on her phone and not 15 seconds later an unmarked crown vic pulled past w 2 staties inside. Somehow I didn't get questioned, and fortunately I was close enough to 91 to hop on and speed off. I'm really not the paranioid type, but it seemed a little too coincidental. Anyone else seen a girl that matches this description w the pimp/fag? Be safe out there team. Apologies in advance if there are many typos, reporting from my mobile.

Your reminders are VERY well taken! I hate to say it, but I've never met one that would return if you let her go with the money. Even the very best of them, some that I really trusted. And then you end up losing a perfectly good provider, because you obviously can't give them a second shot unless some kind of "reparation" is made. I did have one pay me back with a $10 per date discount once, until the debt was paid. But that's a real rarity.

So Monday night i decided I needed to get out of the house for a little while. I wasn't really looking for anything, just taking a drive and listening to the radio. It was about 12:30am and I was driving north on Main St. I passed by this very hot blonde girl who was walking then turned around and started to walk back ( I was at a stop light so I saw this ). It looked too good to be true. So I pulled up a street and ended up pulling up next to her. I asked if she was okay or if she needed a ride. I too have been working a few women at two of the clubs in your city. I've also pretty much have given up on the streets (I still like driving around and doing intel on what's out there, and surveying the scene, but it's been a while since I've actually partook, and when I do she has to be a 9/10 on the SW scale).

Didn't have any thoughts about them except to steal a second glance at the white girl, but the second or third time I passed the latina was gone and the white girl was peering down side streets and making indications of being a SW. You know the signs. So naturally the circus of circling civics starts up, myself among them. I see her go for a truck that's pulled off a side street and I figure she's gone, but 5 mins later I see her again. The hell? This girl shouldn't have any trouble getting picked up if she's legit. The thing is I see the EXACT same girls tonight, wearing the exact same clothes walking down Main. So I'm sure it's a sting now. My second encounter was with a cute WSW on Hancock, who turned up King St. just in time for me to notice and follow her. All I could get outta her is she is from Milwaukee, or at least that is her area code. Heard her tell some other local guy who was trying to pick her up. 1) You did not get mugged

Believe you me: I get where you're coming from. I was always careful to make sure I crossed the street long before any groups of males that were on the road saw me, as most were stationary on various street corners or stores and talking to each other to notice me in advance. As far as being busted for patrolling, wasn't gonna happen. I made sure I had my MacDonald's box in hand, or a soda, or a cell phone to my ear. If I may say, I thought I did a good job blending in pretty well. Granted, I was out there for awhile, and admitted I saw many cops in many forms of transportation. That being said, I didn't see too many repeat drivers with the exception of the ones on street bikes. The key thing I wanted to emphasize was, having been out in the same general 3-4 blocks for about 3 hours, I would have never in a million years even seen the two hot SWers I did if I had been in a car, unless the timing had been perfect. The BSW who looked about 5'9 23 yrs old and slim was out only once for roughly 30 seconds, and the hotter WSW I described in my previous post was out twice in a 3 hour span for about 1 minute each time. Was on my way home and rode through the south end. Hot looking brunette with long legs wearing jean capris, black shirt and heels.

Tried to get her to follow down a street and she turned around. Went down another and same thing.

Three of the five suspects are from outside the city. Each one approached a female undercover officer while she stood at the corner of Locust and Main streets and offered her money for sex, Sgt. John M. Delaney said.

All five were charged with sexual conduct for a fee, Delaney, aide to Police Commissioner William J. Fitchet.

The two West Springfield men approached the officer in the same car, both wanting sex with her for cash, Delaney said.

Delaney said more undercover stings are planned for the summer. “Buyer beware!” he said.

Delaney said that combating prostitution is an important component of the department’s crime-fighting strategy.

“Prostitution and drugs go together, it ruins neighborhoods,” Delaney said, adding that most prostitutes are addicted to drugs. “They go hand-in-hand, prostitutes and drug dealers are like bees to honey.”

Delaney said the strategy is time-proven. “We do these sweeps to get prostitutes out of the area, and usually, the drugs will go also,” he said.

In my work we look to solve root causes of problems. As any SW will tell you, if you go to a new area, find the drugs and you will find the SWs. SWs are there because of the drugs, not the other way around. If LE would get their head out of their ass and get rid of the drugs then they would solve their SW "problem"
