I seen this on the news tonight and I thought the face looked familiar. I never met her myself but I remember seeing that face in ads on BP. Looks like Julia in Concord. That is the risk when these gals work out of homes in neighborhoods. All it takes is one neighbor to make a call to get LE looking into it. Careful folks. Always be on your toes. It would seem that these girls wouldn't want to draw attention to themselves by working out of the same location all the time.

Gave me the general area on the initial calls and would not answer later. Both times, she called me back hours later (or the next morning) after I was back in Columbia asking me was I still coming; Duh! Each of my requested visits were after my late night flights back to Charlotte. I read the reviews about her incall over a garage and was only willing to consider a visit with her under the cover of darkness. But after the second NCNS, I moved on.

Damn glad I wasn't obsessed with meeting her.

From what I have heard you aren't the only one she stood up. Some things are for the best.

If you couldn't tell 911 where you are at, they could locate you from your phone. Like I said I wouldn't be surprised if the onboard computer in your car doesn't have the same ability, especially if you have something like OnStar?

I believe location settings on your phone are for location based apps, maps, etc that are ON your phone. It's used by your phone and your apps to know where you are.

While the govt and LEO may be able to locate you and your phone, I don't think it's through the GPS inside your phone.

You can choose which apps can use the GPS and which ones don't. For example, I have the "find my iphone" app enabled for location services. But for facebook I have location services turned off.

[/QUOTE]Mostly correct; it is a mix of triangulation and GPS depending on the phone and service provider called WPH2, and could easily be accurate within 5-10 meters, as of 6 years ago. Not something LE will have access to unless you actually call 9-1-1, but they can get location info based off of towers that voice or data hits first from your phone company, with a warrant.

Technology gets better all the time. There is no telling what they can do with a warrant.

I wonder often how much time these guys put into these investigations and stings. They invest so much time into.

This instead of addressing more pressing issues just so they can get some headlines

So I leave for Brazil next week. Will be there for two weeks. Will spend some time in Rio, but mostly in a resort town that's about 2 hrs north of Rio. It's a family trip, but I am hopeful that I might get some time to myself.

Any suggestions / recommendations?

What are the thoughts on "false" pictures? I can see it from a number of sides. First, if the resemblance is close, I might be tempted to continue. But way off in age, looks, etc. , I would probably leave. Second, the woman might just be doing this to protect herself in a number of ways from recognition to blackmail, etc. I'm kind of separating this from using older pictures which are quite common in the industry and I've gone both ways on that if I really liked the the woman as well as pictures can really be deceiving. And "Tineye" doesn't always tell you that you're looking at a ringer but might clue you if the woman is actually stealing the pictures off the net.

So, have you just turned and walked? Have you spoken up and told the woman "you're not who I expected. " Kind of goes to the weight thing also since those who advertise BBW are actually very much more honest than those who are and won't state it up front.

Thoughts? Experiences?

I don't like it at all but you make excellent points. She has a life to protect too. I have never walked because I usually do a lot of research and know what to expect. It is annoying though.

I have walked on a few of them. I have had some that wasn't even close to looking like their pic. I can understand the face being the same and the body not. This could be due to having kids. But sit up there and tell me that the pics are you and you look nothing like the person in the pic. I had one tell me that I would see the resemblance once she put on the outfit in the pic. I fell out laughing and left. She could have put every outfit in the pics on and still not look like that person.

Depends on how I'm feeling, how she looks in real life and how deceptive are her pics. I guess we each handle this differently and at different times. I usually ask over the phone whether the pics are really her and current. More times than not she will give an honest answer or a good clue.

I personally don't think fake pics are a deal breaker for me, some people do, but I have found some nice surprises visiting girls with clearly fake pics and of course also some of my worst experiences as well. In the end I am more interested in what you do look like than what the pics were and much more interested in your personality anyway.

That being said, there are girls I have walked out on for not looking like their pics where if they had posted accurate pics I would have still been interested, but don't post a 10 when I show up and find a 5, if the pics are fake keep it close enough that I am not shocked when I walk in the door. If I have any question about the posted pics I inquire on the phone before meeting. They will usually be honest because they don't want to put someone in their schedule who might arrive and walk. Just as bad as a no-show from their perspective. On the other hand if you bring it up once you arrive you will likely get a dishonest answer because their incentive is to keep you there for the money since you are not replaceable in that time slot. It's about money not honesty.

Fake face pic's are ok as long as they could be a girl's doppelganger. However, no reason NOT to post a body shot.

As for outdated pics, got to be no less than a year old. Also, I'm done staying when they are 25 lbs heavier and more than 5 - 10 years old. Last time this happened I stayed. Mad that I did that. But then that's mostly because I don't need a scene to be caused. Never know which girls will go all "rabbit on the stove" on you. Doesn't help I'm not 6'2" and built like a guy who can handle himself. Works to my advantage in some situations, but not this one. With stand you ground cases happening more and more, I'm not looking to see who'd come out on the winning side of that case here in NC.

FYI This is what I do for a living. So let me clear this up. Google's Ad network is not the same as the results you get when you Google a phone number. Those are organic results. What this article is saying is that Google is no longer approving ads (Pay-per-clicks, ReMarketing, and adsense) for adult content. This doesn't say it's affecting the SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages).

I hope you are right. So what they are doing is cutting off the advertising they get paid for but the search engine will still find the hits?

As it stands right now, yes. Organic results are not affected. Otherwise Google's search traffic numbers would drop about 30%. That would be devastating.

However, that being said, a recent ruling in Europe has caused Google to enact "right to be forgotten". This allows someone to remove direct references to themselves from Google. The isn't the law in the US, however, it very well could be one day. If THIS happens. The indexed internet as we know it will be dead. US politicians will use it to censor the public's right to know. Now THAT's a slippery slope.

Been thinking about all the ways I've met women and all of the ways discussed here on this board. Thought I would ask which criteria others use when looking for women in this hobby.

I think the main criteria are:

- looks and service level of the girl.

- cost (is lower really better).

- convenience / ease of getting it.

From these 3, I think you have to pick 2. It's hard to find all 3 in one place.

I personally like strip clubs. I can easily evaluate looks, it's convenient, but it's not low cost. I have avoided the SW scene, I know it's low cost but I'm afraid the looks might be low grade.

I too have avoided the SW scene. MP has been ok but I don't prefer that channel. Strip clubs are fun but pricey and there is no guaranty. I have had the best luck with backpage and a couple oThER sites. My budget is usually $ to $$. Sometimes less rarely more. I have had great success with that formula. I think if I want a total smoking 10 I will need to pay up but I have been happy with what I have found with a little bit of work.

Don't care how good she looks, not interested in being with a bit_h! Cost is important, but doesn't define quality! I've met lots of great inexpensive BP ladies for 60-80, and some crappy expensive ladies 175+. That being said, there are lots of higher end ladies who have great reviews that I've never met. Convenience, that's certainly a big factor, and the #1 reason for my AMP / MP visits. Don't always have time to set up an appointment so end up having to roll up into one of them. For what I get, its certainly the most expensive. As I've matured (LOL, yea right) I find myself leaning towards cost and service.
