Thursday night sometime after 2am I picked up Alyssa (not sure of the spelling, she pronounced it A-Lisa) on Franklin south of Leith. I continue quickly ahead ignoring it and leaning back in my seat, fearing a drive by or something. The car goes into reverse and chases backward trying to catch up to me. I am going quickly but not racing, trying to be a bit nonchalant and not turn it into a car chase, still having no idea whats up but prepared for the worst. I stop at mabel preparing to make a right. I can see that the car is going to pull up next to me so I immediately turn west on mabel toward iowa. It reverses and gives chase now going forward and right on my ass. The car was an older beat up dark car, probably black, maybe dark blue. It was a small 2 door like a cavalier or a sunbird. I didn't get a solid look but I definitely had the impression of it being old, dirty, perhaps rusted or banged up. In short not a late model nice ride. Inside I could tell there was only 1 occupant, likely male, but nothing discrenable beyond that.

I guess I am putting this out there as a warning to others cruising the area, and as a general reminder to all of us that we arent in a playground when we go out to play.

This is an understatement; a casualty of the hobby. I would guess the car chasing you was an over-zealous citizen of the neighborhood, or more than likely a fiesty hood rat playing a rough game. It was my first time strolling through Flint. I checked out the recommend strolls, Davidson and Franklin, went through some of the state streets, but I only saw a couple of possible SW. Very much dead, but of course the first of the month just past and LE was out in force. I saw multiple Black Subs, a white charger, a couple of black chargers, the sheriff's SUV, a couple of chevy sedans with Leo's shield. I went back to where I was staying and googled Flint Crime (yeah I know lame) but I came up with the flint police blotter page and they had a link to their face book. They even explained that a 10-10 is a felony warrant.

Needless to say I felt Davidson and Franklin were just to hot to keep strolling. I even went back to check what had happen Thursday night as it was reported here that it was usually slow and had some unusual activity and I saw another post of gunshots being heard that night as well.

I decided to cruise through Corunna, but Leo was flashing up and down that area as well.

Finally, I cruised back to Fenton. I had done this area in the early afternoon already and had spotted 2 girls walking together.
