What is the latest? Tried calling a couple of places and didn't get any answers.
Last Wed (27th) eve I received text from Far East: 'New young masseuse, very friendly. '.
Also last Wed saw May was still closed 'for a few days, seeking new management,' believe it is for sale, is fully stocked, turnkey operation, waiting for entrepreneur.

Door locked. I called the phone, no answer. Ginger massage was also closed. Finally headed to Qi massage and got a 30 min massage from one of the ladies. Asked for hard massage, but mostly spend time rubbing my back with one hand at a pressure slightly harder than light touch. Tipped 40 and left to never return. I saw the other one on the way out and they are both portly, and have a not so kind face. I would guess both at 50+ yo.
I don't think a city the size of C'vill can support 2 AMPs, let alone 4 and maintain enough business to keep the workers and hence customers satisfied.
I should know better, but in spring time something about eternal and hope.

I just expect a sign in the door saying closed for holidays, come back tomorrow. I tried knocking on the doors / ringing the bell and calling the listed phone on Easter Sunday but no answer.

A few things are happening behind the scenes at May, hopefully re-opening soon?

At maybe 9:10 drove past Far East, the lights were illuminated, no cars in parking lot.
At maybe 9:15 drove past Rising Sun, also illuminated, no cars directly in front of the door.

And I do not know what name the store will be operating under, but there is a new (legal) name change and new (legal) Incorporator / President.

Went to May Massage this morning and saw Eva, a small petite lady with a very pleasant attitude. I opted for one hour and the massage was great. On the flip the menu was wide open and I chose to go with L2. She finished the hour with a scalp and leg massage, I will definitely repeat.
I received notice this morning that Far East Massage in Crawfordsville is permanently closed.
I received notice this morning that Far East Massage in Crawfordsville is permanently closed.
This morning I too received the same two word text, all in English, saying 'permanently closed,' so I too made the same assumption. So after delivering a medical device to another AMP in C'ville, I drove past FE, and it was definitely open with all signs illuminated, so I went inside. I showed the lady the text, translated it in front of her into Chinese, and she explained that it was not the shop that was closed, but it was their published number (ending in 9096) that was 'closed '.
The talkative lady has a few years on her, speaks some English, wore full length thin jeans with strategically ripped holes down the legs, and a T-shirt top with more holes in the back, revealing a black bra. The soon to be published new number is 626-148-5140 (LA prefix).

So sometime I'll go ask her about it again, unless someone beats me to it- ha! And of course she accepts walk-ins.

This morning after delivering a massage table to a Crawfordsville AMP, then picking up the mail at another, I then stopped at FE. I showed her the incorrect number, she apologized, we called each other's phones, later I texted in Chinese to which she replied in English, very friendly lady.
