Nimby = Not in my back yard
"Dream on! Detroit's city council has its own agenda, bowing to neighborhood groups, powerful black preachers of large inner city congregations , and liberal feminazi toadies. They will probably continue to target the streetwalkers and the Johns- especially the suburban Johns who have cars that can be impounded." So you believe that that residents should have to put up with hookers and johns trolling their neighborhoods?
"I remember the golden days of the Cass Corridor stroll, the wood six theater and the Michigan Avenue stroll 5 or ten years ago and wish things were like they were then, but we'll never probably see that again thanks to crack cocaine and the anti-sex agenda of the court system. (As for LE, as much as I hate it they are only doing their job)" The Cass Corridor is undergoing a transformation that is a big improvement from 5-10 years ago. Drive down Mich Ave from from Livernois to Wyoming and you see a lot of new business which is an improvement. I don't think the residents want the pimps and hookers back. Prostitution has moved off the streets into the hotels in the surrounding suburbs. That is how they do it in Windsor and it is legal there.
I want cheap sex just like the next guy, but I don't feel that my desires should negatively affect anyones neighborhood.
