Great point, Gonz. My experiences with LEO tell me that a lot of the LEO culture fosters the belief that it's o.k. to lie, cheat, steal, use violence, and generally be a bad person and an a-hole as long as you wear a badge, a gun, and the right uniform, and you claim to be after the bad guys. Much of the public thinks LEOs are all 100% honest, honorable public servants whose only interests are to "protect and serve" us. Certainly there are plenty of LEO who are good people; but, just like the rest of society, there is a significant percentage of them that will do whatever it takes, legal or otherwise, and no matter who gets hurt, to make themselves feel better. The public turns a blind eye because the ends justify the means, and it's just too scary to think that the good guys are no better than the bad guys.

Vice police are guys who were picked on in school and are now getting even by picking on people that are weak and unable to defend themselves: poor, single moms.

There is nothing "conservative" about the State arresting people because of their immoral behavior. This commonly known as the Nanny State, where the State uses police to enforce religious morals. Conservatives believe that the State should leave people alone. Conservatives believe that activities which involve only consenting adults are none of the State's business.

The Vice (Nanny) cops are forced to lie and cheat, because Vice crimes are the only crimes that have no victims. Real crimes (crimes against people and property) have victims. The victims call the police and say, "Hey, some guy stole my money" or "Someone attacked me."

No one calls the cops and says, "I just gave some girl $30 and she gave me a BJ. Please help me!" So Vice (Nanny) cops are forced to lie, intimidate defenseless girls, and conduct stings. Otherwise, they would never make an arrest and the gravy train would end.

BTW, Vice (Nanny) cops pay a high personal price. Just imagine how you would feel about yourself if your job was to harrass poor, single mothers. When you see a Vice (Nanny) cop, you are looking at a guy who was picked on as a kid and wasn't smart enough to get good grades in school.

Jacksonville is about to lead the state of Florida in murders for the 9th straight year. We are above our average right now. Honestly the bible beaters here still think prostitution, strip clubs, massage parlor are far worse than murder probably because more minorities are dying than anyone else. Furthermore, it is primarily on the north and west sides of town.

But, some of their preachers are picking up SW (find it on youtube). The streets are bare now, but the murders have increased. I don’t get it. Just of the publicity of TV and prostitution stories would probably let the public know that the girls are out in our city. I bet we have some new mongers because of it.

But still, there are too many churches in Jacksonville and not enough strip clubs!

Not too long ago I made a post asking for info for the beaches area. I got a good response and want to thank the guys who responded. Now here's another question:

Over the years Jax has had some great clubs to visit, where you could consistently count on leaving happy and satisfied. There are still a mess of clubs where you can go, have a brew or more and get fairly friendly with the dancers. But to the best of my knowledge, unless you get take-out service, we're pretty much down to ONE "sure bet" in town (figuring that Cinders is history).

So I'm opening this up for maybe some discussion on places besides the one at McDuff & Beaver. I realize chances increase when dancers know you, but the disappearance of private VIP rooms has REALLY hurt. Comments ?

IMO...a resounding yes...its got to the point where the only time I get a decent time in a VIP is when I travel.....and I hate traveling...on business that is.....

Her stage name is Erica, and she's a little worn for her age, but depending on the scenario there, you may get what you want, just not in the really OPEN VIP AREA at Vixen's, but possibly take out.

The slightly older (late 20's) dancer was amazing and took care of biz:) I lost track of time and was in there for like 3 hours.

Has anyone heard from PW? I really miss reading his reports and hearing his stories. Just wondering if anyone has any information.
