I was simply saying that I have been to Seattle many times and I know many of those girls over there very well because they rotate from Orlando (actually spend most of their time here in Florida) which is what I was saying. We set the tone, we are the customers, we make the demand.
There's places like magnolia and Tokyo in Renton that have been known to ask for their "house fee" on top of the $$ which has varied for an extra. 4 to. 6. I simply avoid those spots unless there's rant and rave about someone there, then I might go see for myself. Tempted to go visit Tokyo to see if the talk of the matching their rates down to $$ is legit.
My best and really only guesses as to the folks arguing rates and making up reasons to justify themselves Getting suckered, is going into shops with zero confidence like they're new to the hobby. Walk in like you own the place.
That and or its appearance / hygiene. If you look like a slob and smell like one, they'll charge you more. These girls are doorknobs, everyone's getting their turn, yet they clean up and make themselves desirable for the next John, one after the other. Yall can do the same. Don't be stopping in after an 8 hour shift at the factory and expect to pay regular prices.
