By me saying, "that's different", I'm meaning usually we're bitching and crying because the donations are to high for what we got, LOL. So your post about "cheap girls" is definitely different.
That being said, I'm not sure what you consider "cheap" and also what's cheap to one guy is not so cheap to another so that's kind of suggestive. I've seen plenty of ladies in the "upper" price range, some were good and some weren't so good, (I'm being polite).

It is possible to make enough money without price gouging people in the process. What I think the problem here is guys with limitless amounts of money having spoiled some girls, and so they expect it from even the guys that don't have it, when even if they settled for less, they'd still be making a lot (or at least a lot more than what they'd be making working at other jobs). Its like there is no consideration of how long or hard the average joe has to work for the money that they get paid with. Not everyone is rich. That'd be my gripe.
There are a lot of attractive gals on BP who offer value for money and have a pleasant attitude to go with it. The best ones never lose sight of the fact that the client has laid out $100 - $125 for a very special 30 minutes out of the working week. These providers do their best to make that time enjoyable and never rush, or remind the customer that its time he finished up and left.
All we have to do is favor these gals and reward them for giving value for money. Funnily enough I have found the $300+ a hour ladies don't necessarily offer increased value. I saw one provider ($300) who allowed no kissing, no DATY, no BBBJ and was remote and rather mechanical about what was left on the menu. She had me out of the room in 35 minutes and that included 15 minutes of 'conversation'. There is no way that represented anything close to good value. She even insisted that I initially provide her with two references.
So I stick to one lady right now (Sophie) who spoils me rotten and makes a middle-aged guy like me smile. The donation is reasonable and I see no need to splash out for expensive, frequently overweight, prima donnas that periodically roll into Greenville to grace us with their presence.
In the past I've had less than stellar experiences with BP ladies, who hasn't; but at least I didn't shell out a small fortune in the process.

If I had life to do over again having the hobby and life knowledge I have now, #1 I would have never gotten married. #2 I'd have worked my ass off in high school and college so I'd have a mid to upper six figure salary that took me around the world.
Instead, I spent high school and college worried about what pussy I wasn't getting then. So yeah, I'd be blowing money like a rock star too if I could.
