I'm living vicariously through you guys these days as I don't really go out much. The gf is with me most of the time when I'm in town. We are either eating, shopping or at home. The only time I can shake her is when she is at work. There really is no place for me to go as her friends are working all over Kapiolani, and even has friends that moved to Kalihi. The worst thing is I seem to have a target on my back. Some of her friends come on to me and it is really tempting. I think if you go out at the least maybe Pearl City or Waipahu if you want to chance the drive back into town. It sounds like you serious about your SO and yeah after a certain age it is nice to have someone to call your own, so I wouldn't blow it but if you need to hang out just drop her off and hang for a few at her work place in plain sight so no harm, no foul. These young guys get all bent when they see "their wahine" sitting with a customer makes me laugh all the time can't be jealous if you going out with a working girl unless you take them out of the bar and that costs. And even then they not satisfied at times. I am sure you know what I mean.
JR let me tell you a true story about a friend who was going out with back in the day a very popular bartender, she and her sister were a one two combination for the unlucky lover boy. They were very successful in their endeavors and are now retired on the mainland with their own businesses. They are successful and are relatively happy. I saw them last UH game when we went up there. Anyway getting off track. My friend went on a business trip to LA her brother was living there and she asked him to do something for her. He took my friend to a k-club and they had a good time socializing and he testing the waters with her brother they had a good time. He donged the wahine serving them a pretty young thing a $1 for her troubles and they left. When he got back to his hotel he heard a knock on the door and it was the wahine (unknown to him the brother had brought her to the hotel and had paid her to sleep with my friend till the morning hours. This per his sisters instructions.) now this would normally shake most guys but this wahine had already had 2 abortions because he didn't want another child so to keep him she did as she was told if your bond is as strong with your SO then fine but it gets hard when you care, cherish what you have but with these women don't hold on too tight because you going loose in the end. We all know that but reading between the lines I sense you are vulnerable Brother JR it is the loaded crap game I am probably way off center field but humor me. Be safe and take care.
P.S. The gist of the story is these wahine are crazy, and they will do anything and everything to keep you if they really love you. It also shows they will do anything to test your resolve and commitment to them. If you serious you cannot waiver because as you said this rock is really too small.

I've seen and participated in mass abandonment of a KB for another KB just because of a difference of opinion or crappy service. We leave, no more business.
KB operators are finally recognizing the importance of dayshift due to current evening conditions. We no more as much drama and dingalings as nights and the bartenders starting to give better service (except at 74) and pupus. Lights are out for nightshift unless you playing the KBG game or like spend plenty money. Dayshift veterans been dea.

Both sides, there is some kind of business up stairs that has always a couple of parking and the wahine that goes up stairs usually double parks and leave the keys with the bartenders at Camelot. Has a Chevy or GMC SUV. You need to get there when they open they have regular Korean customers that come in and take up the parking can always park at Walmart. FYI.

Started at Starlite last night before heading over to 904. As luck would have it, we end up sitting at a table next to the Kangaroo *****. Our entire group cannot stand her obnoxious demeanor and fat pooch of a stomach so instead of leaving we just chose to sit at the bar. After about an hour of not having to hear her loud whiny voice she ends up at the bar with her lvb. Darn it! We finish up our beers and make a beeline out of there when one of our friends who is a Korean national and speaks the language stops and looks perplexed by what she's saying to her lvb. We leave and head over to Lilac and ask him what was wrong? He then tells us what was bothering him. Apparently she owes his buddy a large sum of money so he already holds a grudge toward her. I guess she was telling her lvb that she hates local customers because they don't spend money and that she wishes that during 9-11 they should have attacked Hawaii so all locals would have died. How's that? She then told her lvb that all the kbgs at 904 hate her because all their customers end up spending on her instead. She proclaimed herself as the Queen and that the two mamas better watch out because she already runs the place. This coming from a fat chick who is sitting alone a lot of times waiting for her prey. Reason I'm telling this story? I want to make sure everyone gets educated about this chubby leach who owes a lot of people money. She probably borrowed money for snacks at home!! By the looks of her tummy, I'm probably right. LOL.

There's a bartendress at 74 who is popular and seems so friendly, yet I was shocked to see her scream and shout like she belongs in a padded cell when she got mad at the waiter. I knew a hostess back in the day who got mad her "hunny" bought a drink for another girl, and vandalized his Jaguar. Subsequently, I parked my POS out of direct sight.
I've known local guys with excellent listening skills in the Korean language and you'd be appalled at how vulgar KBG thoughts are. Even if they treat you like king at the table, they don't think much of this place or the people and just want the money, never mind if they trick a guy and he ends up on the streets.

Saw Tomoko at Talent. Met her over 10 years ago working the Viet strip bars. Fell on hard times I guess and is back in the bars. Still has a body on her (like your typical j-girl) even though she must be in her 40's by now. She has not mellowed with age and still nags and demands drinks like a 5 year old, like she did back then, and is thus still irritating as hell. No enticing ways or efforts on her part, so it is very easy to be NEON with this one.
Saw Anna from the old Butterfly from a couple years ago in 74. Chunked-up nicely and has fat heavy jugs that I got to hoist for a while. 74 also has a couple of gorgeous skinny little kgirls who looks-wise would be top-tier in any AMP, even Rejuve or Happiness. IMO they are extremely pretty; one doesn't see much of that anymore in bars.

IMO a KB is no place for local girls to hang out, but again Summit is changing what they are it seems. I'm from the Old Goat School - ONLY working hostesses should be in a Korean Hostess Bar, and these hostesses ought to be unemployable FOBS, not locals.
The girls I met were here only temporarily to test the waters. They weren't so great anyway and I don't frequent sports bars, so it kind of doesn't matter to me what they're really doing.
