I took a trip down 47th street East of kedzie on Monday and to my surprise that was a buffet of LSW WSW and BMW sitting at a couple of the bus stops. I had a dream with one of the BMW. It's was a CBJ that was great. She was 25 with amazing boobs.
After that I went to Midway to handle business and then took a gander down to cic and 5th after reading the post on here and to my amazement there were about 6 BSW gathered in the middle of the street at 6 AM. I've personally taught six women to drive (more or less) in my own vehicle. Using parking lots only. My favorite lot is the location at 51st and Cottage Grove (near UofC Medical). It's 10 minutes from Chinatown and fairly empty. Joe, I do have one of those magic dents that "F" put in my car hitting a recycling bin. "L" has tried to drive off in my car into the open road. I had to throw the car into neutral just to keep her from getting onto the street. "J" is afraid to go over 5 miles per hour. I can't say every Chinese woman is this way, but my friends are batting 1000 when it comes to scaring the shit out of me. I hesitate to offer a theory, but part of the problem might be language and difficulty reading road signs. Part might be a general indifferent to "rules" of the road, since in China, driving is generally maniacal. Also, I think it is more difficult, in general, for any person (any nationality) to learn things when (we) get older. We learned to drive as teens. Teaching a 40 or 50 year old (anything) is much harder.
Finally, the driver education programs in Chinatown, are basically scams intended to simply get them through the test with a license. This include both the written test and the driving test. (For what it's worth, California and Washington DC have Chinese language driver ed PDF downloads. If you venture to teaching your friends. 95% of the road rules are the same, I'm sure you agree.) My point is nobody really bothers to teach them. I try to teach them because, as I tell them, I want them to be safe. As a side note, you will make the biggest positive impression on a person if you give her this kind of help. Bob.
