Is there a hotel near where all the action takes place? I see there's a La Quinta Inn, Budget Suites, the Orleans. Or should I stay somewhere else?

You could do Budget Suites but the rooms are horrible!
Tonight at 8:30 on Boulder Hwy and Mojave in front of Caliber Collision was a gorgeous blonde wearing a tight sweater dress. I had a friend in the car and can't believe I couldn't pick that up, I can't get out there for a week or I would try tomorrow. Any of the regular cruisers have any info on this girl? Seemed to be taller than Lexi from previous weeks ago, but just as sexy but it might have been her as I couldn't stare with company in the car. If you like the street meat, this girl was worth at least a quick run down the block around the 7-9 pm time frame coming into the weekend. Feedback is appreciated as she seemed to be another diamond on that rough street of Boulder Hwy.

The rooms at The Orleans are nice, and I personally like meeting up with friends there at the sportsbook or one of the bars.
I was just at the Orleans last night hanging with some friends from work, throwing a few back & smoking stogies at the alligator bar. We left between 11 & 11:30 pm. The lot was crawling with girls, I talked to one on my way to the truck in fact.
When I turned west onto Trop from Cameron, there was a near dime on the NW corner in front of the gas station.
As has been said many times, they will be out from 9 or 10 pm till around 6 or 7 am, sometimes later.

Best place to stay IMHO if you want to guarantee safety and discretion. You can literally park right in front of your door if you get the right room, even if you don't, there is no hassle of making a long walk through a hotel parking lot or lobby. I've stayed there for a weekend, picked up several SW's and never saw anyone when bringing them back to the room.

I booked it for an overnight once and I could hear every word of the conversation going on in the next room. Not sure putting the TV on in my room really did much to stifle any sounds coming from my room. Overall though, the room was nice, clean and cheaper then most other properties.

I also mostly work nights so I am able to stroll the sights of the vegas night life every couple days.

However, I have found a few gems on Van Patten and Sherwood streets between Sahara and Karen.
