I just returned from vacation travel and can share a bit.
Previous reports are spot on with snatching Casino girls. Your opportunities greatly increase the later you hit the strolls.
On the strip you can easily cruise 4-5 casinos and see who's working and who is not. My rapid fire even mis-shot on a few married ladies that where wo their SO. Be a gentleman and clarify your just out to meet folks.
Peak time is 10 pm - 12 am and they tend to be selective. The higher value working girls actually play simple slots as way to keep security off their backs and stay in Casino graces.
The security staff certainly know what's up and just don't want you flaunting your evil ways in the face of the Bible-belt visitors. In fact getting a girl up to the room was harder in the week than the weekend. Especially after the robber scare that hit the news during the week. They (security) will randomly ask patrons to show room key before getting up elevators. So you have to be smooth with your escort. At least at the Casino I was in. Too many folks during Friday and weekend for them to do the same.
The latest scam I witnessed was an attempt by the girls to get your room number without clearing details of service. Also setting you up to have a BF or rob.
You definitely don't want a bad actor bringing attention to your door with them banging on it.
I stayed for 5 days and played every night some mornings and evenings.
Best tip. Be patient and negotiate a good rate as they (ladies) are all about securing a successful session with minimal effort. The good ones always start out at $500 and I'm certain some high rollers are contributing to this amount.
Your be better off with transportation, but Uber works smoothly. I don't do incalls especially when in new territory.
You can tell value by how busy and how many other mongers are interested.
I hit two bonafide 9's in the Casino girls and they where spectacular. Also hit some local non-casino action. I will dig up contacts and post more details as I had to dig deep to keep busy.

Got there about midnight, it was as dry as I've seen the strip in a while. I thought for sure the NCAA Championship game along with CES would have lots of people and CG's out. Nope. In about 90 minutes, saw 6 CG's. Strange, maybe things were better down the street but just looking down the strip and at traffic, there weren't a lot of people out.

Certainly not giving my room number or key to anyone. Were you at the South end of the strip or North end? I tend to stay at the South end. Last year I had some success there but the pickings were slim compared to previos years. The earl 2000's were the best though, it seemed there were 7-10's all over the place. Now its more of a challenge to find a WCG in the 7 range than ever.

Unlike what the movies portray they cannot deactivater a given key at 95% of locations.
Best advice is to keep an old key and give it to them with the room across the hall.
That's the best way to get entertainment.
Some people write the room number on the sleeve to remember the room.
If you do this invert 2 numbers in a fashion you know.
If they see your key in your hand they can get the room number if its written on the sleeve.
But keep the key away from your cell phone as it can deactivate the key.
Also use an RFID blocker as some very savy people use cloners to get the key info without you.
And then you tell them the room number and they keep you busy while their friend looks at your room.
Vegas is a techie haven for thieves.
To know if your door is connected to a central system look to see if there are wires going from door-frame to door.
Most of the doors are battery operated locks. I once had them change the batteries in front of me because it didn't work even the new key.

When you go further down on the either end, the activity is scare (MGM, Circus-Circus, Stratus). Also remember. Its cold in Vegas now, and the Casino girls aren't walking on streets much if any. There is a strip of four or more Casinos when you can practically walk all in doors with only a street crossing or alley to move to next one.
As far as giving up my key- hell no. Never was asked, but its simple to grab another and deactivate old ones. I loss my cards on a previous visit and you just need I'd to replace.
