Problem was fixed when I updated O / S on one of MACs to Big Sur Beta last week. Still was broke on another MAC with current O / S.
Then noticed its now fixed on other MAC in the last 24 hours. ? Go figure, but it was def a problem on MACs, not phones, or IPADS.

Yes, I've still got the issue on my MBP w / Catalina, and on iMac with Mojave. As to earlier suggestion to clear caches, I eliminated that as an issue by trying to login on both w / Firefox. Then they sent me a "how'd we do?" survey as to my satisfaction with their tech support. Gave them a frowny face for now. .
Will keep eyes on the prizes on the iPad for now.

You are correct, Catalina is the current released O / S.
Big Sur is still in Beta, but I installed it on my MBPro.
I've had this problem for at least 2 weeks, it showed up all of a sudden on both MACs. Again iPads, iPhones are ok.
Installing Beta of Big Sur is a big deal kind of, but I felt it would fix the problem and it did (both safari and chrome with SA works on Big Sur). I trust the smoothness of macOS update over all those years I updated Win machines.
After closer look, I do still have the problem on my Hackintosh that is running Catalina. However Microsoft's Edge MAC version works flawlessly with SA on my Hackintosh, but chrome and safari. NOGO. I thought the problem was fixed, it wasn't. I was using Edge on my Hackintosh and forgot I guess.

The last time I tried to create a new account, they rejected it. However, I think you can hide your join date while you are in a paid subscription status. I keep one active account and one inactive account so I can keep tabs on my new SB and other POTs after turning my active account off.
