I heard a rumor from a Lucky Spa insider that Lucky Spa is preparing a new location in Orlando a block away from Bora Bora (a great place, by the way).

I don't know if it is true, but I would hope they would choose more wisely, since Bora Bora got raided last weekend. Bora Bora is my favorite AMP, but I do not think that Lucky Spa 2.0 would survive long in Orlando. It did not take long for Bora Bora to be raided.

If true, it is also a dumb move. I compare it to 2 Subway sandwich shops opening up within a block of each other. Both will suffer. Lucky should move to a place that is in need of good spas, like Polk or Osceola counties.

A place like Lucky in those two counties would get destroyed almost immediately. Very conservative.

I've always been offered the Membership Program [B]AFTER[/B] the session (once they know you're a legitimate customer that won't bring unwanted behavior or attention), either on my way out the door, by Mamasan, or by my attendant as she is helping me dress just before exiting the room. For whatever reason, Lucky, Yoshiko and Crystal don't seem interested in offering a Membership Program.

The only noticeable "perk" upon repeat visits is that the establishment has the opportunity to learn (and remember) what your preferences are, and repeating clients may get a feel of a more intimate and attentive experience. I say MAY, because I haven't really noticed the session being any better or different, but Mamasan is certainly more likely to be warm, welcoming, and friendly.

The upside for the establishment, in keeping track of such things, is that they know what you are willing to pay, how often you visit, who you've seen before, and, importantly for them, if you have even slightly misbehaved on any of your past visits (thereby risking termination of Membership, but I've not heard of that happening to anyone. . . Not that anyone would report that here). For example, if some schlub goes into one of these places uninformed and plunks down $$ for a tip because that's what she first [U]ASKED[/U] for (and he didn't negotiate better), then you can bet they'll make a note that THAT guy should be paying that same inflated tip on every return visit. I've made that mistake at one place, where I later learned that one of the girls would have taken $. 2 for her tip, but I just gave $. 4 because I didn't know better. Thereafter, I couldn't get anybody to take the same tip I knew full well (learned AFTER my first visit) that someone else was paying. I've been contemplating letting sufficient time elapse and then going in WITHOUT my Membership Code, pretending to be a brand new client, and trying to get the lower rate after which I would open a NEW Membership. . . I'm not sure it's worth the effort for a measly twenty bucks.
