Wednesday evening.
Driving north on 99 saw a youngish, tall brunette around 5 pm walking between 85th-95th. She was probably around 20-23. Black halter, tight jean shorts.
She looked too clean to be a regular SW, so I passed. But then saw her hop in another car and speed off to a hotel around 115th or so.
Any info?
She was absolutely GFE material. Based on looks, anyway.

So in other words you got arrested for engaging in sexual relations with a hooker under 18, cops and prosecutors threaten everything under the sun, and ultimately you plea to solicitation, do no time, do community service, and ultimately have the charge cleared.
While you may think you were lucky I think this is pretty much par for the course. Newspapers always print when someone gets nabbed with a child prostitute but never follow up with what happens afterwards. These sorts of cases never go to trial and are almost always plea bargained. All the talk about felony case costs don't apply because it never gets that far.
A family member was nabbed for a relationship with someone who was under 16 and he was over 18. Same thing - lots of talk, lots of threats, ultimately plea bargained to a misdemeanor and did no time.
This was the way it worked before this new law was passed and it will be the way it works after this new law was passed. In a year I'm going to try and get the Stranger or Weekly to do an article on how much this new law was used and I'm going to bet the number of johns prosecuted under it will be 0. Yes they will threaten you with 21 months in prison, blah blah blah, but ultimately if a case like that goes to trial and the girl doesn't show up (as they often don't) or the jury finds reasonable doubt (which is far more likely given the prison time at stake), it's a big embarassment for the prosecutor - they will take a bird in hand every time. The exception of course is for those johns that actively look for juvenile prostitutes - in that case they will likely pursue and god help you then.
All that being said, as always if there's any doubt in your mind you might as well check ID (although IDs can be faked) - or do what I do and find a regular ;-)

by beef with the aaa is that they either never get in your car or if they do want to charge escort rates. i can't remember the last time i picked up a girl there and actually did anything... i think a lot of girls just go there to be seen or be a part of the "scene".

Even if the SW says you solicited they won't have anything. They may arrest you since they have probably cause and may charge you as well but if you wait they will drop the charge since it's a he-said/she-said case with no physical evidence (SW's don't make the best witnesses).

I wanted to report on the adventure I had yesterday. I wrote a long report when I got home but somehow lost it before posting but I was sure I posted a response to Mariners Man about just missing the WSW he reported on.
Okay, here goes, I started off my day with a great visit at Tokyo Spa with Sue. I left happy and satisfied, thinking that that would be it for the day...
But as I ended in the Greenwood area later last night I thought I would check out the Aurora Stroll. I don't have much experience picking up SW's, having picked up a few in the past on Aurora and a couple down on Pac Highway.
I definately prefer AMP's.
Starting about 6:30 I didn't see much, except for the WSW Mariners Man reported seeing. I wasn't sure if she working at first, especially as she was walking with the traffic rather than against it which I had usually seen them do in order to make better contact. Well, I decided to see what would happen but when I pulled off to see what would happen I saw her get into a fellow mongers jeep and take off.
I kept checing out the Ave for a while but just saw a heavy set WSW walking up and down. I decided to just take a peek Denny/AAA all the board's warning in mind. I have never checked-out the action down there and just wanted to take a look. Too many people and confusing for me. I like the Ave as the SW's stand out more.
Uncle Leo was out and I knew to be careful. I did see what I thought was a BSW around 95th talking to a guy in a wheelchair at a bus stop, I have read about the ladies using bus stops so I made eye contact and pulled over around the corner. Her name was Nicki and is a nice looking lady from back East. We did the usual show and tell and drove off. She wanted .5 for a BBBJCIM but took .40. We found what I thought was a good spot but ended being interupted after 5 minutes of a great BJ by a guy taking his dog for a walk. I do know a couple of spotsbut they work best after dark.

After hearing that she had been a dancer I asked about a dance and she obliged with my even getting out some 1$ bills for some added fun. I always thought it would be fun pretending to be in a club and move onto some full-service fun right afterwards and it is. And all the support companies that are involved in those business'. There are a lot less since the economy took a dive. In the hey day, the "popular" girls were doing a grand a night. This provides a certain level of LE "rules of engagement" and both criminal drug gangs and prostitution can take advantage of these laws and live here and work here easier than say the Bible belt or Arizona where there are no such laws. Actually their federal laws are enforced. Up here in the great NW we have a lot of people that like to have a very tolerant society, so as a byproduct, we get a lot of SW'ers. Look at Pac Ave in Tacoma. That place was a SW epidemic. Not until the residents complained for over 2 years did Tacoma finally use Federal money to clean up the that track. Hell, if there were no Federal dollars on the table, you can be that track would still be alive and kicking. The KK only got cleaned up because the SPD chief knew he had to finally do something about it after a decade of ignoring it. Funny thing, now it is starting to come back as city money is getting thin. People don't really want their plastic bottled water taxed. They are "getting it". Time to make some tradeoffs Seattle and I think prostitution is going to be pushed down on the list of issues to fund. More J walking enforcement is needed in the CD. Doh!

I've been away from the scene for a long time, and went out a couple times to see how things are on Ol' Aurora. It's not an exaggeration to say I had two of the worst nights out ever. What few SW were out looked like used chewing gum... I hope things turn around for them, though it's not likely... but what happened to Seattle drivers? I try (really hard) to stay out of people's way when I'm cruising... I know they have things to do, but... Have they gone psycho?

I saw Angela she's not new but have not seen her around for quite sometime. She looks like she has gained more mileage she is really nice and is good. She was by the hoverpass. When I have the opportunity, 2-3 times a week, I'll drive up 99, paying special attention to the area between 85th and 145th. Over the last few weeks, either I'm really bad at spotting SW's, or there just haven't been many out.
I drove up and back yesterday (7/13) around 1:30pm (I don't always go at the same time, I never know when I'll get the chance), saw 1 WSW around the home depot area, but no other females out that were obviously working. Sure there were other women out there, but they were walking with a guy, or pushing a stroller. Almost without exception.
On the other hand, I saw PLENTY of SPD cruisers out and about. And I've been seeing that for the last few months.
I guess the war on erotic behavior is in full swing.
Seems like more and more gals are appearing between 45th and the zoo. Did a quick once over from 145th to 45 and back, from 10:40 to 11:15. Saw no one above greenlake. About 4 gals aruond the 45th ho'overpass. Both sides.

I have asked for ID in the past with girls who look too young. This one she said she was 18 and I believed her. A lot of risk for a possible 21 month sentence, yes. Thinking with the wrong head in that case.
