Nope, this "V" was completely nuts. And MUCH better looking, from what I remember at the time she had short curly brown hair, a pretty face, was a haole/local girl was early 20s (So would be early to mid 30s now). Pretty much was a nut case. Didn't need drugs to act wild. Now that I think of it, she used to "rock" herself, used to dress in hospital clothing all the time.

Kinda want to say her name was "Virgina" more.... but can't really remember it. Only saw her around for about a month or two and haven't seen her since.

1. If it's me or her, and I am willing to pay for service and she tries to rob me, it will definatly be her.

2. Airbag do not deploy (normally) unless there is front or side impact on the outside of the car. If you are worried about them going off because her head flies into the dash, thats what the seatbelts they religiously wear are made to prevent (and it wouldn't happen anyway).

Please stop posting pics of car accidents. They have nothing to do with what this forum is about. If you would like to post responses and stories thats cool, but please I don't need to see dead bodys and broken windows. Please realize that your pics come up on the main pics board that is updated for all to see.

I am sure everyone would appreciate not seeing a dead body here sorta spoils the moods of people and what they are here for.

Regarding the responses to my post about the option of a hobbyist resisting an armed robbery by slamming on the brakes and disarming the robber:

(1) Of course, I agree that it's both easier and safer to give the armed robber some amount of money and not resist. That avoids the possibility of various adverse consequences. However, depending upon the circumstances, a hobbyist might decide that he's not going to be a victim and that he's not going to give the robber an incentive (money) to rob other hobbyists. Please note, I'm not recommending either resistance or non-resistance. The choice depends upon the specific hobbyist and the particular facts involved.

(2) Personally, I have no sympathy for an armed robber who is injured while trying to rob me or a brother hobbyist.

(3) An armed robber may not be wearing a seat belt, especially one who wants to make a quick getaway and/or is affected by drug use. Even if the armed robber is wearing a seat belt and the seat belt restrains the robber from hitting the dashboard, giving the robber a strong, abrupt and unexpected physical jolt by slamming on the brakes can make it easier to disarm the robber.

(4) My post was based on personal experience. Years ago, I picked up a downtown streetwalker (or purported streetwalker) who seemed relatively normal before she entered my vehicle. However, once inside my vehicle, she quickly became loud, strange and aggressive. It seemed that she was intoxicated by some drug and/or alcohol. So I calmly told her that I would let her off at the same place where I had met her. She demanded money from me and I refused, pointing out that we hadn't done anything and that she had been in my vehicle for just a few minutes. She became enraged, removed a bottle of liquor from her bag, began swinging it around inside my vehicle, and threatened to smash me with it. I reacted by slamming on the brakes, pitching her forward into the dashboard. That enabled me to grab the bottle of liquor from her and hurl it out the window. That angered her even more. So I quickly reached over and opened the passenger-side door (being hit a few times in the process), shoved her out, and drove off.

It would have been safer and easier to just give her the money, but I did feel a sense of satisfaction at resisting the armed robbery and demonstrating that not every hobbyist is willing to be a victim. Again, I'm not suggesting that either resistance or non-resistance is preferable in any specific situation, but merely providing an example where slamming on the brakes and resisting was successful.

Just ignore him, he hasn't really contributed to the forums, has uploaded meaningless pics, and generally is trying 'show off'. Nothing he's posted has shown he actually has done things in Hawaii, nor has he given a single report or evaluation of a provider. He's essentially trying to 'pad' his post amount so he can get 'seniority'. (Sorry for continuing the off topic.)

Just go to the "User CP" on bottom left side "Buddy/Ignore List" and put his name under ignore. Perhaps, if he bothers to post something meaningful I'll take him off.

I have picked up girls on the street and changed my mind after a closer look. Either they were stoned, drunk, smelly, or just unattractive up close. While most times, I just find an excuse, like, "oh, I just thought you wanted a ride", or " I thought you were someone I knew. You look her her", may get them out, I had girls grab a backpack or other items in my car and run out with it, or refuse to leave unless I gave them money for their time. One even grabbed my car keys.

My advice is to just give them $10 and say sorry for the misunderstanding. Much cheaper than loosing bags, keys or getting dents in your car. Not worth the risk of injury or attracting LE. Just my 3 cents.
