I have stayed at the Country Inn on Michigan, which seems like halfway between BTs and Silver Cricket. The place is new or newly remodeled. Very nice and clean. It's no Hilton, but well worth the price difference compare to red roof inn. I've stayed there for $65 and $85. I think the lower rate was a [URL]hotels.com[/URL] special.

Had lunch today at the Coliseum and heard some interesting developments. Seems Alan M, the Topless Prophet, has been replaced as the owner. Bartender told me that ownership has reverted back to the prior owners and legal proceedings are taking place in the courts. With Scores still up for sale, many employees are guessing that Alan will just move his staff down the street once he buys Scores.
