That Donut Shop right by Wells Fargo bank and close to Planet Fitness has always made me wonder some things.
I see them open late night and I wonder if its a family business or chain. You think just how many donuts and coffee do they need to sell to make rent and a profit. If its a family business I applaud them for staying open when a lot of businesses in sketchy areas are closing due to crime and homelessness issues.
You don't see too many of these donuts shops left. I should go in one day and just buy something to see the place before its gone, I hope its not gone.

The first gen Asians would look for affordable businesses to buy and operate when they first get to the USA and donut shops fit that bill. They have family members working there day and night so the labor costs are minimal. As long as the extended families lend a helping hand (they are culturally obligated to do it), they can remain profitable with smaller sales.
