I would love it if we had as much variety as there was in LA, especially the in the menu department where BBFS seems like a real common extra.

So I looped around again and thought maybe I should try this chicken place out so I parked go in and see a dude in the corner of the place who looked as if he had just ate a bowl of chili peppers I get my food the guy leaves right behind me and he's the guy in the city truck just trying to have a meal. Moral of the story not all ghosts are real.

In The Sopranos, Tony paid off some local cops so they wouldn't bother his operation. Having a high volume location where neither the girls nor the visitors were going to get hassled or arrested by law enforcement--and the girls weren't at risk of getting stiffed or messed with by the visitors--means that it's viable to divert some high-quality strippers to the de facto brothels Tony had interests in.
I know that real life isn't like T. V, but I also know that's actually how these things work some places and how they have worked in the past. Probably not a coincidence that the places in the city that operate most openly are near Chinatown, where some of these old-school institutions are still in place, after a fashion. Quality in NYC and L. A. Is probably directly proportional to how large local Asian and Russian immigrant populations are that can support this kind of operation.
