I am very happy to see this post.
Hi Msaunders,
As always, my appreciation for your long history of interesting and helpful posts. And continued luck going forward in your new adventures.
The "original Holly" indeed left the scene several years ago, after a very serious medical incident. Fortunately she survived, against all odds, and is now away from Philadelphia with her family. She has been clean for a long time and each year continues to make progress in her physical condition. She is very much back in the swing of things and, with the support of many friends, is doing the stuff we all do and looking only forward, not backward.
It goes without saying that many of us admired her not just for our immediate pleasures but for her quick wit and soft, friendly, open personality. She won't be back, but she's fun to remember and I know you'll join me in wishing her continued progress and happiness.
Holly was a very special person, and one thing I will never forget is many many years ago I was at the Visiting trailer for RCF to see another Girl from this scene who became a very close personal friend of mine, the old timers will remember her as "Backpack Jen". Well As I walked into the trailer Holly jumped up ran over to me and gave me a great big hug and a kiss right in front of the CO and Bishop. That day is one day I will never forget. LOL. And while we are on positive stories, I am pleased to say that "Jen" has been away from the ave for quite few years now, is back at home with her parents, clean and in collage.
It is because of her you don't see me really post anymore and she opened my eyes that these girls are people, not just playthings. DO I still have the occasional encounter, sure I do, I'm not going to go all high and mighty about how we should not do this, it is what it is.
Duke if you still talk to Holly give her my regards, she knows who I am, just tell her that story she will probably remember.
Peace.
Z.
