Much cheaper labor costs to roll out carpet than lay tile in the states, in Asia labor is cheap.

Anyhow, in general what you say about floor tiles in hotel rooms is true, but there are hotels in the USA that have them throughout the room. One that I stayed in was the Fairfield Inn in Key West:

That construction is used in tropical and subtropical areas, like SE Asia and Key West (the Marriot you reference is in Key West) where there is significant risk of water damage.

The idea of this forum is to share information that helps us all. Yes, I have low post but had a previous account with senior status. I am not taking sides if true or not. Super happy for him if that's who he is seeing. Let's look at the information he tried to share. There are a lot of colleges within 60 miles of Dayton that have a diversified enrollment. Many female students from out of state or even the country. I have been fortunate enough to have had a couple UTR's similar to his picture and story. The hotels we stayed at were always over 20 miles from the university. University students need jobs too and no reason to cause an issue for the girl.
