The cops made money, and the church got some property for a lot less than it was worth. Not really much of a loss since Tokyo had been a bad place for at least a decade before it was shut down, but the former owners (who also lived there and ran the place) really got screwed while the cops and the church made out.

OTOH, the now dilapidated building that was where Mikos (the 'good' Springfield AMP) was located has, AFAIK, remained vacant since it was closed the same time as Tokyo.

I'm sure there are other discussion groups where the beneficence and malfeasance of organized religion can be expounded ad nauseum, without alienating us from one another and taking us away from our immediate task.

One of my clients was recently blackmailed by the savages in India setting these poor guys up. They got him through a fake add on Craigslist. I asked for details to share with you gents. Fake ad was of a early 20's female, long brown hair, too pretty for Craigslist, had semi-professional looking pictures. Within 5 hours he was on exposing johns shitty site, within 24 hours he received his first threat / blackmail message with a pic of he and his SON attached. They said they'd message all of his Facebook contacts and a whole slew of shit. Then offered 3 plans to remove info. It was $495 to remove himself from EJ's website. It's sad.

He's not very savvy and learned a hard lesson about keeping his private life very private.

Yeah, I told him to get a burner and he did do that. They did remove his info right away, but I wouldn't be surprised when they come back for more. I didn't know that shithole website was ran in India. I thought it was being ran in the states by some frumpy, disgruntled ***** who caught her dude with a working girl, heh. I had no idea they were making fake advertisements with a goal of entrapping, slandering, blackmailing, and essentially robbing mongers. When I googled about it being a scam I found some website that was collecting donation for alleged victims, and claiming they're going to India to fight to get the page shut down. However, whoever covers the site that's fighting EJ, types like English isn't their first language.

Funny enough, he's Indian. _.

That's the next scam, the guy running the site to fight the scammers is one of them. There is no way he's going to go to India and get that site removed, no intention of doing so, its just another way to 1, scam more guys out of money and 2, find more guys to blackmail, on the theory that only guys that monger are going to make a contribution, and its hard to use fake info to send money overseas, and therefore they are going to get valid I'd to try to search for stuff to blackmail the guys with, more victims.

I think not discussing any services over the phone, or in the room, and insisting that the provider remove her clothing first, or with you, before you lay down the donation, is the best way to detect LE presence. Doing that will also flush out an upsell, dance-only ripoff.
