You're absolutely correct Super, a SW can't upsell what she doesn't have, SWs are always gonna try to get as much as they can for their services. The "going rate" is not now or has it ever been written in stone, it's just a standard of comparison. There's no way in hell I'd pay 1.75 for your average SW, that would be outrageous, however this girl is not your average SW. She's the Mercedes of SWs and your not gonna pay average price for a Mercedes.

Absolutely! The key words are "might not." LE can pretty much hassle you for whatever reason they might choose. My CYA for that is to avoid the K ENTIRELY for SW pickups or deliveries. Unfortunately, SWs lie. SWs with drugs or drug paraphernalia will most likely not admit it if they are asked. They want to make some money, and they have a motivation to get high again. Most will not screw that up by telling you the truth about carrying drugs. Of course, you have a choice at that point, knowing that they are carrying, to just drop them off and avoid the risk altogether.

Assuming you do all that and assuming the LEO decoy doesn't lie when your case comes to court (BIG assumptions), then you MIGHT get away with an entrapment beef ONCE. But the law has changed, bolstered by several Supreme Court cases. Law enforcement decoys are ALLOWED to lie, touch you, have you touch them, whatever, to give you the opportunity to commit a crime. The "touchy feely exchange" many mongers (and SWs) think protects them, DOESN'T! If you have already been arrested for solicitation in the past, it will be difficult at best to mount an entrapment defense: that you are a person who was not ready, willing and able to commit the crime charged in the indictment when the opportunity was afforded, and that the decoy did no more than offer an opportunity. You can assert whatever "rights" you think you might have, but I wouldn't suggest playing tough guy with a LEO. There are quite a number of legitimate reasons for probable cause to search your vehicle and they include: FLIGHT (obviously); FURTIVE MOVEMENTS (like bending over in your car as if you were hiding or getting something, or even being on your cell phone) ; OBSERVATION OF REAL EVIDENCE; ADMITTED OWNERSHIP ("accidentally" emptying the contents of a purse or pockets); FALSE OR IMPROBABLE ANSWERS; PRESENCE AT A CRIME SCENE or IN A HIGH-CRIME AREA (I think the K "qualifies"); ASSOCIATION WITH KNOWN CRIMINALS (like a known SW/drug abuser?); PAST CRIMINAL CONDUCT (is your record squeaky clean?); FAILURE TO PROTEST (LE has it both ways: if you are too resistant, then they have a reason to suspect you may be hiding something and if you are too compliant, you also could be suspected as a person with something to hide; you can't win!).

Recording every SW conversation is a great idea to deter decoys but it would be one big pain in the ass to do every time, and it would certainly freak out most SWs, who would suspect that you are LE looking to sting them on tape! It is just easier to have every SW get in your vehicle and not discuss money after you have driven for a while and checked thoroughly that there is no tail (like making several turns). A decoy is not likely to get in your vehicle in the first place, and checking to make sure there is no tail is just extra insurance.

I respect even more that she chose to write to me about this subject and offer her advice. What I found quite intriguing is that she said she reads this site every day and finds it very "interesting" and sometimes even "amusing". Some advice she said she got from a cop was to ask, "Are you part of any kind of undercover prostitution investigation?" Supposedly that question can keep one out of trouble. If they lie and say "no" and then arrest you, then you have a strong case in court for entrapment. While I have no reason to doubt that she was given this advice from a helpful and reliable source, I still know that an undercover is permitted to lie, and no matter what questions you pose, accepting an offer of sex for a price is against the law. The best defense is simply to always drive with the SW for a good distance, and make certain you are not being followed before any business discussion takes place.

I understand on excellent authority that a SW named "Candy" who sometimes goes by "Dee," recently stabbed an undercover cop. If she is crazy enough to do that, she is a serious danger to all mongers, and you should have your radar up for that one. We don't need to become heroes or junior LE here, but a word to the wise should be sufficient. From what I understand, Candy/Dee is blond, big tits, and older, maybe late 30s to early 40s. I agree Super, the ULEO isn't going to get into the car, I've never heard of it happening. They are coming from the standpoint of their own safety being paramount. The ULEO is not going to risk her ass for a crime that's not even felonious in nature. Some jurisdictions won't even pursue if they direct you to the arrest spot and you go the other way, like I said not worth risking the public safety for a misdemenor, nuisence crime.

I didn't consider the "tail" potential either. Since I zig zag, and back track often due to getting lost easily, any leo following might die laughing at my frequent nonsense turns.

I will kick out a sw immediately if I found out they have anything on them! I don't want to be a 2nd class citizen! I have no tolerance for drugs due to the legal ramifications of getting caught in the presence of them.

My record is squeaky clean, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't go down to the K area after 7:00P.M. So the 2:00a.m. scenario wouldn't be an issue for me, but you do make a good point with it.

My pick ups have been on side streets, I will never do this on K or Frankford.

How is being on the cell phone a FURTIVE MOVEMENT? Hell, just about everyone has a cell phone now. Look at how many are using them while your down at the K.

Absolutely on point BadBoy! Don't bother with the touchy stuff. If it makes the SW feel better that you are not LE, then fine, get a free feel of her boobs and snatch, hell, make her show you them too as you drive, but it means nothing in terms of protecting you if she is a decoy. If she got in your car and is driving away with you, that's the only way to "go about" the LEO check, because virtually no ULE is getting into your vehicle, but I always check for a tail just to be 100% dead certain.

The "furtive movement" or cell phone ploy is the least of your worries. If you read my entire list of legitimate reasons to have probable cause to search your vehicle, just being in a high crime area is one of them! The key is not to be stopped in the first place. Drive on the K like a little old grandmother. Don't be in a hurry to rush those yellow lights. Make sure all the lights on your vehicle work, and don't have as much as a crack in them (and that goes for all your mirrors and windshields). Have your inspection and registration and insurance and all paperwork up to date, not to mention a current license! Don't pick up any SWs right on the K! And don't make any completely boneheaded moves like doing a U-turn in the middle of the Ave to get to a hottie before someone else can!
