Hawaii is too small a place to go public and meet, especially in bars/clubs; someone is going to see you sooner or later and that's not gonna be a happy occasion.
If you gotta meet and she has to do it public, gotta be real discreet and go to the shopping center or something and play it like you guys know each other from school or something; not gonna be obvious and easier to explain if someone does see you.

I'd go where locals don't usually go to. Like in Waikiki in one of the hotel bars or restaurants where locals would least likely go to and with good privacy. Just arrive and leave separately too.

I did it when I got my cell phone and I was living in New York at the time, and Sprint gave me a 808 number so that the family could call me local instead of long distance.

CD you are very wise. Stay in the open where there is a lot of people. Acting like school friends or old work associates is good. Going to a fast food place to talk is smart too. Everything appears to be open (not sneaking around) and legit. Leave in separate directions and meet somewhere else. For more pointers and what not to do, watch G4's "Cheaters".

I use the Moana Surfrider Lanai Bar. Lots of tourists, Nice location and can get cozy.

In all seriousness (sp), I would suggest Hulas as a good place for a discreet enounter. I've done it before. Of course, the assumption is that you are meeting someone of the opposite sex.

When you first get any cell phone from any provider, you can request any area code.

For real privacy. The bar at the Airport Marina Hotel is definitely your bar of choice.
That bar should be renamed "sneaky bar". And if you really want to get cozy,
the rooms are reasonable.
I have used this bar numerous times.

(I took two sisters there and to a room. Believe me, that was a night to remember. They were total GFE.
The only problem I had with doing two women is that if you just subtly hint that you show more interest to one, then you will never do the two again). A Real life lesson. Maybe the real problem was that they both had the hots for me. I mean we fucked all day. And when we got hungry we ordered room service and ate. After we ate we fucked some more. When it comes to fucking beautiful women, I'm a fucking animal.

And after you take her home and want to monger. Just go back a little later and you can monger there Friday, Saturdays. Of course, these days (economy), its probably a seven day a week venture. Unless there was a recent bust.

I'd choose a nice tourist hangout over say Side Street Inn as there are too many locals that go there, though it is crowded. The bar at the Surfrider is a good suggestion. Get a table close to the beach, talk, sometimes they have live music, and I find it a very good time for dates. You can then go out to the beach and with some music, it can be romantic!

The bar at the Halekulani is also good and there are not really any locals that I've seen. Across the street is Nobu who also has a good bar and pricey sushi. There is also a Roy's close by. Fine dining abounds! Go for it tiger!
