In Detroit and in Flint whenever I had to leave for something, I would just tell the doorman I would be back and they usually let me in. Only when it was really busy, or if it was someone different at the door did I ever get asked for the cover charge. And usually, just saying you were there already was enough. I can't honestly recall a time when I was made to pay twice, just be polite and don't get too butthurt if they ask for it again.

However what I have heard is when they come in they immediately go everywhere that they want to and do everything that they want to. Apparently the way one is to know that they came in is that the music stops and the lights come on.

Therefore the bouncer plays no role in your safety for getting busted or not. Anybody else have any information on this.

They separate the girls and the customers and then they shakedown everyone. Looking for priors or drugs. Don't you notice the staff all have listening devices. I know one club has a certain code that everyone broadcasts when he cops come in. Another club had a light that would go on when the cops came in and all the dancers would jump off the guys.
