So, her best bet is to plead guilty, and most likely she will get a suspended sentence, probation, and a fine. The problem that will occur is this will be her 2nd charge within 30 days, so the judge / states attorney will most likely be pretty annoyed with this.

I do suggest that she go see a public defender, and not take this case so lightly. The back log means nothing when you are a repeat offender for the same crime within 30 days. Keep us posted on the outcome.

I have looked at some people's history on case search over the years, if she really has a clean record, they will probably take it easy on her. The worst thing she could do is not show up at court, they would hit her with a FTA and that is usually more serious than the other charges.
