Took a spin by Stoplight the other night. Place was packed. Noticed the same'o Kalihi crew there also a few townies now working there also. I took a piss break and saw a sign on the mirror. February special, $10 nekos and drinks happy hour prices every Tuesday for the month of February. Ok, sounds like a plan. I was thinking I'm going to come back on a Tuesday to check it out. Wait, there is a catch, there's always a catch. I asked a girl about the special. She said and I quote "I drink water for the $10 drinky special. No makey money if punchy for a drink, only $5. If you want me to drink alcohol, it still $20". Ha! I thought so.

It took me back to the Yokohama days where they charged $20 for water and $40 for alcohol.

Oh well, nice try there. Atleast beers are happy hour prices.

Yuri hair is kind of shorter than the picture, cosmetic tattoo eyebrows, short and skinny, and tongue always sticking out like a lizard. I wonder why you guys call her crazy so I know what to look out for next time I'm at Carnival. Yujin was already drunk when I got there, could smell the alcohol.

Went on my usual tour. Pulled into Diner's in Kalihi just as some older (and I mean older) lady was walking towards Kools (which I was planning to check out). At first I thought it must be Haloween. Major eye makeup / face painting wearing bright red dress. Easily the wrong side of 60. The more she walked into the light, the more she scared me.

Floored it and headed for 5-plex by McDonalds. Saw Nani just leaving from Carnival which was pretty dead. Had a beer next door which was also dead. To save money, I stayed out of Green Tea (Suzie always tags me). Never have been in the bar adjoining Green Tea. Worth it?

Anyways, moved to town and went to Hanabi. The two bartenders from the now defunct New Casino (Juliet and Sue) are now there, but, the floor crop seemed low for a weekend night. On to Winner 8. Another beer and actually a pretty good eye candy session there (hadn't seen Lan in almost 10yrs). Last call and up to Napa's which continues to be better than it was (not sayin' its better than Evergreen. Just better than it was).

After seeing the broom stick candidate in Kalihi. I just got to go check out Blue Sea tonight.

Other girl is not her roommate, but is her friend and basically her working partner. They do a tag-team thing. Old-school hustle and push drinks. I don't think either have a reputation for play. They move around the Pearl City / Aiea circuit and have worked Kalihi in the past.

Bottom line: Not bad eye candy, but save your bux if you want your balls juggled.

Sat at a booth by the back area and still could smell the barf. Gosh, it was disgusting smelling that. Before going to Evergreens had a huge pile of vomit alongside Makaloa St that I almost stepped on. I'm thinking maybe that person puked in Evergreens or, the people walking on Makaloa St, stepped on the vomit and walked in Evergreens stinking up the place.

I walked into Evergreen on Friday and had the same experience as you guys. I just got the hell out of there before my clothes started to smell like barf.

Water leaks under the bar on the makai end. There are rats galore and I am not just referring to the KBGs. Place has not been cleaned in years. Imagine taking one of those police CSI black lights into the private room (s).

Maya certainly has her work cut out for her when she takes over in March. Let's just hope she gets rid of the small 4 legged rats and the big 2 legged Chinese ones

Haha, I guess we all smelled the shit at Evergreen on Friday. Despite the awful smell we still ordered some food, I got to stay I love their spicy chicken. The kimchee cold noodles thing was a little shitty, I prefer D'Amour's better. Other than that same old Evegreen, just a place to hange out after 2am.

Also before that Yuki sat with us at D'Amour. Cool chick, she didn't really hustle us for drinks, took her time and was really friendly. She only let my friends buy her drinks and not me because she didn't want to "get into any trouble" from you know who, LOL. We all started to giggle when she said "I don't want to get in any trouble" because she reminded us of that korean lady from the movie Menace to Society. When even had her say "I feel sorry for your mama". They only think negative with Yuki was her grill. We almost thought she was a jgirl because of that, haha. I ignored Yujin that night, she seemed kind of sad when I brushed her off, oh well.

Jessi also sat with us again, the kbg that speaks REAL english. Super cool as usual. Looks likes she been working out as she looks skinnier than the first time we met her. If your reading this good luck with Great Aloha Run, I know you were worried with drinking and smoking before the run but I've done the run on a small hangover and 3hrs sleep so I think you'll do fine. AND sorry again for doing that "dog lick" to the side of your face, I kinda had that 20hit combo to the side coming, LOL.

So we decided to try out the Pearl Kai bars Festival and Chance. What a waste of time. Club chance was pretty dead, only had two hostess that looked to be in their 40's. They served us our beer and left us alone, thank god.

Then we went to Festival, wow the girl behind the bar came off as a *****. As we were walking toward the bar area she yelled at us with something like don't come to the bar, sit down at the booth area. Almost like the bar area was the DMZ between North and South Korea. BUT She was hot though, kind of looked like a Viet in her 30's. Anyway a scary looking mama came soon after and sat us at a booth in this seculded ass area blocked by a planter. It's a good area if you were to get action but freaking lame with four of us boys sitting there. Anyway, I told mama to smile to try to brighten the mood but just grunted us off and asked us with a gorilla voice for our I'd's. After one beer we were out of there. I don't even know what kind of bgs were there, if there were any.

Also anothing thing I want to mention was I noticed a lot of the customers were of our age. 20s to 30s. Some of them looked liked the kind of guys that are into MMA and such or the kind of guys looking for trouble (the kind of guys that hang out at triple D above D'amour). Felt a little hostile if you ask me. There was even a fight earlier outside and we saw that group of guys coming from Festival. We were going to try VIP by JIffy Lube but we saw the same type of dudes hanging outside the entrance. Not sure if were just being paranoid but I guess maybe people MAY look at us with the same attitude, we're from Waipahu and can sorta tell we're from that area. BUT we don't walk or talk tough or anything. We're the laid back type and just want some bg touchy action, LOL.

All I know we're not going to try those bars again anytime soon.
