Returning After Long Absence
I'll be as brief as I can but I'm genuinely curious if anyone else had issues accessing this site recently. Almost two years ago I started having issues (I only use my phone to view this site.) I had almost always used DuckDuckGo to access the site until that stopped working. Then I switched to incognito mode on Chrome. I wouldn't be able to type in the link, but I could Google search it and find an obscure link to get into the forums in another major city which I would use to backdoor my way into the Cincy boards. Soon after that I started noticing some of my posts weren't appearing, and then soon after that it was pretty much impossible to get the site to load on any browser. I even tried switching out of incognito mode, no luck. I was still seeing one known provider to the board and I asked her if she was having issues logging in and she said no. She asked a few of her other regulars and they all said they were having no issues. Frustrated, I eventually gave up after I read somewhere that my cell phone service provider had possibly blocked the site. I had entirely written the site off for almost a year until today. I got the hankering to try to find some UTR talent or see if any new ladies have popped up in the local market. So I pulled up my phone and DuckDuckGo, and here I am.
Logged in with no issues. Anyone else having issues or heard about people having issues? I have two android phones, one on Verizon and one on Spectrum, I couldn't load the site on either phone with any browser until I randomly tried again today.
After briefly scanning the forums, I'm sad to see not much has changed. Seems like it is staying the same and possibly getting worse. I'm not above going hogging from time to time, but I'm not paying a premium for it. I saw a non-hog Cincinnati favorite on Tryst that I used to see for like 200 asking for over 400 now. I paid $225 for an hr just 5 years ago. Times are tough and we've seen some inflation, but not enough to justify a 100% price increase on a depreciating asset. You can argue demand is high and supply is short, but doubling your price? The hoe math is out of control.

Is anyone other than me tired of all the whining and crying because others can't find any pussy? If you can't find it on your own or can't afford it stop your fuckin whining and crying. Yrs ago a person organized cheap pussy and put it on a silver platter for everyone. Now that person is gone the true nature of most of the whiners comes out. Now your true nature as a whining and crying good for nothing is fully evident. I fully expect to hear from the whining and crying babies who can't find and can't afford pussy. Wishing that long gone or dead hookers would come back only proves you're not living in the present. Except the fact the hobby has left you behind and move on.

My original intention was to come in here and poke holes in the compared analogy of gasoline prices but its not that far off. Last time gas was under a buck was the early 90's, and if you consider todays prices (ignoring the peaks and valleys in between) it looks like costs go up roughly 9% a year. I considered a pretty well known provider who I banged 7 or 8 years ago for under $250. After COVID that provider was charging north of $500. Even though that seemingly happened over night, I considered it over a 5 year span, making it something around a 13% increase per year. I'm taking a lot of liberties and bending some data there, you could very easily make a solid case for either extreme, but I was a little surprised that the data wasnt jumping off the page screaming too high of a jump compared to gas, while its actually rather comparable. Its as if gas remained steady and pussy took a a major jump to catch up with it. I remember thinking about strip club economics quite a lot through the early aughts and into the mid 2010's. Prices of every day goods had slowly gone upward but lapdance prices didn't move for like 20 years. Throwing a dollar bill on a stage had the same buying power for multiple decades. Some of the hoodrat strippers started expecting 5's and up but most of the suburban clubs I frequented over the years saw little change. Perhaps the hoodrats were the scholars all along. Ahead of the curve.
I understand the 7-10's increasing their prices after COVID, what I personally whine about is the fat whales and druggies increasing their prices in the same fashion. Rising tides shouldn't necessarily lift all boats here but as many of the white knights will say, "the lady can charge whatever she wants. " Sure, and we can complain about them being fucking idiots and pricing themselves out of their own business. The same thing happens to me in my industry. Prices go up, customers complain. Pussy is not immune to this. I don't go on yelp and tell my clients to stop hiring me if they can't afford me. I try to remain fair and competitive but also make sure I am profitable.
This is a forum that not only shares information on experiences in the hobby but also generally discusses the hobby. Personally I'd rather read pricing breakdowns and comparisons to other markets and maybe a little whining about the good ole days compared to long winded romance novels about getting jerked off by a woman who probably hates you. Not talking about any specific reviews, but there's many that fit that category. Different posts for different folks. I'll keep my crybaby data to the rants and raves section though, good points all around. Good day!

I haven't posted in a while, because I know there's nothing to be gained from me endlessly saying things like, "But that one's too old, fat, overpriced, etc. ".
As for price. I don't expect to be paying 2009 prices. Four hundred is probably a reasonable base price now for quality women.
The problem for me, rather, is that I'm drawn to almost none of the options currently on the market, at any price. A decade ago, I had to watch my budget because there were so many women I wanted to see.
I've dabbled with the hobby since 1992. The hobby, like everything else, is subject to boom and bust cycles, often protracted ones. Between 1998 and 2006, choices were very limited. The Golden Age lasted from 2008 through early 2019.
Here's my analysis of our current state:
In 2012 we had:
-8 percent unemployment.
-A comparatively liberal political environment, both in the US and in Ohio.
-A laissez-faire legal environment toward the internet.
-Lots of young women (a "youth bubble".
-Sex work (especially sugar baby dating) getting positive media coverage.
That all led to a good hobby market, in other words, a good market for hobbyists.
In 2026 we have:
-4. 3 percent unemployment.
-A right-leaning political environment.
-Lots of internet regulation (SESTA / FOSTA).
-Fewer young women. (Though we only need a few!
-All sex work being portrayed as "trafficking" in the news.
That makes for a bad market for us. The hot women are the last to enter the hobby, and the first to leave. (Remember, I've been watching this since 1992.) That leaves the overweight, the old, the scamming, and the substance-abusing.
Todd's First Law of Economics and the Hobby: 5 percent unemployment is the threshold where a significant number of new, attractive women enter the hobby. They just don't have an incentive to do it when the job market is hot.
On the positive side, the labor market seems to be loosening. I also predict that the national mood and the political environment are about to swing left again. That will create better conditions for the hobby.
Until then, my advice is to hobby conservatively, with known and vetted providers who suit your tastes. What goes up, must come down.

I think about the quoted text above a lot. Just strictly approaching this from a common sense deduction standpoint, I don't think the 600 club on Tryst is getting a lot of business. There would be WAY more reviews on here. Many of them have no reviews. While I don't search for all of them, I do look into random ones or ones that pique my interest. Almost never can I find a review. At best, I will find a post of someone asking if anyone has seen them or maybe a post reviewing them in another city, usually where they are based. I've noticed that as well over the years on Tryst. Some of them are based in a city 2-5 hours away but they indicate they are also available in Cincinnati or are planning on traveling to Cincinnati soon. My theory is that some of them ask for 500 or more, plus deposits and possibly other fees. If they can get a monger to agree to that in a town 1. 5 hours away, they will make the drive for it. Which tells me their service is probably worth half what they are charging (or less) but they are inflating their price to justify the travel time, hotel booking and risk. It's not a horrible way to operate from a business standpoint but it leads to scarcity for the consumer. They are taking limited risks and maximizing what they make, as long as they can survive on seeing one monger a week or whatever they end up doing, they have no reason to drop their price or lower their demands. Jacking up prices limits the tire kickers and weirdos too.
I realize there's many mongers on here seeing the high honorarium traveling girls, but the regular posters on tryst asking for top dollar can't possibly be getting that much traffic.

Yes I have no hard numbers but I would venture to say that the members here are the minority of the mongers. I might go as far as saying me. Bers and non-members that just read the reports are the minority.

Online nonsense: OF is really nothing new, and few women are making real money there

OF got a lot of attention after the pandemic. And yes, I think it's been a factor, but not in the way you might think.
Firstly, OF really isn't a new idea. For as long as I can remember, the default mode (especially for hot women) is to try to get your money by offering various forms of visual teasing and pseudo-sex. Look, but don't touch.
I remember reading an article about Camwhores in Yahoo Magazine circa 1999. Camshows have been around since the beginning of the internet.
Around the same time, there were several locally famous girls here in Cincinnati selling content from their own websites.
Strip bars are definitely on the decline, but they used to be a big thing. During the 1990's and 2000's, I remember hearing about women making four figures in one night at strip bars. There was a Deja Vu on the east side of Cincinnati, and there were always guys going into the VIP room, hoping in vain that something would happen.
Also in the 1990's and 2000's, there were agencies like Best Shows, that would send strippers to your house. Sex was implied, and once in a while, you could find one who would do extras. What makes OF unusual is that it is a very hyped, and frictionless way for many women to do this. There are legitimately some women who make good money on OF. I recently read an article stating that most OF creators are making under $200 per month. The platform is highly saturated now, and they have to compete with women in Eastern Europe and Latin America.
From an economic perspective, supply always ends up exceeding demand where various forms of "look only" offerings are involved.
On the other hand, most youngish, attractive women could print money if they would only give escorting or sugaring a try. It would make the typical OF paycheck look like chump change.
There is a real problem, though, that many potential escorts (particularly among the under 30 crowd) are still convinced that their OF is going to explode any day now. After all, all those girls on TikTok are saying that OF is easy money! What's wrong?
Meanwhile, the in-person escort market is filled with women who never believed that people would pay them money for their photos. But they're the ones who are showing up, so they're making more money than the hot girls with OF accounts.
That's the real story behind OF as a factor in the escort market, IMHO.
