No club around here charges $100 cover. In fact, I believe the Mons cover is the highest in the entire Bay area. I believe.

Went to a couple of the strip clubs over the weekend (CA and Atlantis), and in both of them at least one girl I wanted a dance from was being hogged by a regular (I'm guessing, never seen those guys in there before, but I only hit the club every few weeks.) If a known commodity comes in the girls are going to go to them. You are an unknown. They'd rather go and know they will make X with a known person than maybe make nothing with you. They don't know how much cash you have to spend.

A couple guys post up there that seem like barflies and the girls just hang out there forever. I've made solid eye contact and tipped them on stage and they still just go plop their asses back in the seat afterwards. It's somewhat frustrating but I always try to walk away with the attitude that if they aren't interested in my money, they probably wouldn't have given good service anyway.
