Times have changed and its becoming harder to trust people, especially those working the streets for a living. I haven't been out in years and have no desire given the prices some of these chicks are asking for on the street. Additionally, the idea of BB in todays world is risky behavior, spend an hour or two looking at recent mugshot of guys who were dumb enough to get caught soliciting, I imagine you won't think about it again.

They won't arrest you either, unless you negotiate. I always talk with them through the window to get a feel of their personality, because once a hooker is in your car, it's a dangerous situation. These are career criminals who have nothing to lose. I advise keeping your doors locked and your front passenger's window half-way up so it's more difficult for them to reach in and unlock it. I sometimes ask, "Are you nice?" The real bad dates have difficulty choking out an affirmative answer to that question.

I'm fine with the dollar cost.

The bigger issue, for me, is that it "normalizes" (for them) the practice of demanding money before the service and de-incentivizes good service. I expect argument; but I'm convinced it really does. If we actually got our act together and quit being stupid, it would die out, and they would quit thinking it was SOP and acceptable. Similarly, I (usually) negotiate a lower price agreement and then tip (generously) for good service. It seems like good business AND, given the poor average quality of the service / dates in this area, anything that incentivizes "upping their game" seems like a good thing to try.

So, yet again, (even if annoyingly! I try to NOT tell other people what they "should" do; but I believe we'd all be better off if all of us exercised 1) pricing discipline, and 2) payment AFTER services rendered. As PW points out, this CAN be difficult and we WILL potentially miss out every once in a while; but overall we'll be better off.

Had an escort ghost me late on a Thursday evening, so decided to check out E Fax. Lots of SWs. Highest concentration was between Quebec and Yosemite on both sides of Colfax. Then a few peppered between Yosemite and Dayton. Also, lots of cars aggressively going after the SWs. Higher traffic than usual. Didn't bother with the best looking SWs that were dressed up. From prior reports here, assumed they were going to be asking for high donations.

The issue I ran into was when I approached a SW to ask if they wanted a ride, every single one gave me a weird look and then said no. This has worked in the past, but for some reason, I felt like that question scares them off now. I even dropped my standards to ask SWs I normally wouldn't approach and they had the same reaction. What's the deal? Anyone else experiencing this?
