And if your license plate is captured, and you're a resident of one of the nearby neighborhoods, you can provide a utility bill or other identifying information, and they'll "remove" it from their database. If your license plate is captured, and you're not a resident of one of the nearby neighborhoods, you can make a $500 donation to one of several sex worker outreach organizations, and provide proof (to the website hosts) of the donation, and they'll "remove" the license plate from their database.

Hey, everybody, let's go get Hester Prynne.
Another Shooting on Aurora Sunday / Monday Overnight
I was going through AA on my way home when another shooting occurred between 100th and 97th. SPD came rolling-in hot and blocked-off southbound AA. Officers got out and started marking spots where they'd found shell-casings and began taking photos. I parked and watched for a while, found it interesting. There were quite a few attractive SWs out there when it happened. I'm going to declare that at some point the city is going to drop the hammer on AA. It won't be tomorrow, it might not be next week nor next month, but this can't continue. I really am interested in your safety, be smart and vigilant and don't get caught-up in anything, be it from criminals or cops.
News Articles Regarding Recent Shootings
Two news articles regarding the rash of shootings on Aurora lately. License plate cameras are coming to Aurora next month and they are also considering blocking-off alleys at night. None of which will probably do anything to curb or stop any activities.

Have these all disappeared or gone independent? There used to be a few these years ago (Renton Highlands, Tacoma, Auburn) but I don't see them advertised anymore.

RE: Loitering Laws In Effect
Just wanted to add to this in case anyone wants more information. I found an article from October 2nd stating that Mayor Bruce Harrell has indeed signed the SODA / SOAP bills on September 23rd and laws go into effect today. The article mostly focuses on SODA zones but there is mention of the SOAP ordinances. Also posting a link to the specific legislation from the Seattle. Gov website, Council Bill 120836. From what I gather once a SOAP order is issued, violating that SOAP order is a gross misdemeanor. I'm aware that SOAP orders will probably be issued by a judge when a john is accused of the crime of Sexual Exploitation such as when caught during a john sting, but i'm not sure how it works now when an alleged john is suspected of cruising and loitering specifically, do police stop and then issue a citation for loitering? I'm not a lawyer here, so somebody check me on that. The more informed we are the better. Try not to get caught to begin with.
I spoke to an aide of a seattle city council member on the phone earlier this week. She told me that the mayor signed the loitering law in without a public ceremony on 9/23. The law is in effect starting today confirmed by this aide. Be careful out there!
