Went out Sunday night. First for me on a Sunday night. Even though Monday was a holiday, very few people on the loop. Saw a few SW's on L st around vermont ave. None on K.

What happened to the DC mongering arena in the last month? Where are all the great posters like Trick and Loop at with those great reports?

Was in DC for Thanksgiving, and decided to check out the DC SW scene. Tired of the family stuff, and went out on Saturday night to check it out.

Wow, maybe I was looking in the wrong places, but didn't find anything. Hard to believe for a big city (I'm from mid-size city in the South). Went down 7th, 9th, and 11th street from around New York ave to Rhode Island Ave (I think it was those streets), but didn't find anything at all. Went down L & K, but nothing. It was from around 7ish to 10ish.

Ended up at a couple strip clubs (Louise's and the one on Conn.), then on to the AMP's. Any "outside private meetings" in those strip clubs.

AMP's are great in DC, and seems like that's the thing to do in DC. I think I missed the SW areas, so where are the women at!

Anyway, just kind of curious. Is the SW scene that good at all, or maybe I'll just stick to the AMP when in DC?

I've noticed that since 9/11, the streetwalker scenes everywhere in U.S. dried up. I was in Dallas, and before 9/11, SW's were lush. After 9/11, all gone.

Last time I was in San Francisco was in 1999. SW's were hot and young, and numbered somewhere between 50-100 on the streets. I was there in 2006, all gone except of TVs/TSs.

So coming to DC, I expected much of the same. There are still few around, but with online sites like Craigslist, the SW's know they can turn tricks and stay in their AC hotel/motel rooms and avoid the cold nights.

Willis you were out too early for the K&L loop. I haven't been out looping it in ages, but, things usually don't start heating up until around midnight. Strolls in NE or SE have action 24hrs, but those strolls/neighborhoods are probably best for the locals.

7th, 9th, and 11th streets NW between NY and RI have no action. Back in the day you could find a jockey or two on 11th, but not anymore I'm guessing. K&L between 13th and 16th is the general loop, after midnight, or at least after 11pm.

Thanks for the shout out. I guess I'm getting too old to scour the loop at 2 and 3am, I don't know. I haven't been there in probably 9 months, when I met the boys at the bar formerly known as Clicks. I've driven the RI, WV, NY, and Eastern Ave strolls, here and there. Gotta say WV Ave has slowed considerably from what I was used to. RI/Montana is pretty dead too.
