I do the same when entering or exiting. If they think you're staying more than a day then they're going to ask you to fill out a form. From where you come from, 1:17:41 was a very fast trip.
You most likely drove down after 10 PM when there was no traffic, doing 100 MPH in long bursts with occasional slow down to average 82 MPH.
