I had set up the trips to meet with SB's in their area and I did not want the trips to go to waste (see previous comments on warden restrictions.) This means (unless your profile shows you are young, rich and handsome) you have to get lucky just to get a conversation going with an sb. It also means that even after a sb has agreed to see you, she is still being bombarded by emails from guys who are your competition. If you have told her the kind of sugar she could get with you, some guy may come along five minutes after she's agreed to see you and offer more. I believe this is one cause of no-shows.

Many of the girls, when they start off as an sb, really believe they are looking to find someone who wants a long term mistress and who will provide them with a serious amount of support. I think the youngest sbs (all over 18 of course) are most likely to believe this. When they realize thats not the direction they are going, they pull back.

Another reason for no-shows is the girls are paranoid about meeting weirdos. If they are young, any guy much older than them is already half way to being a weirdo.

Many girls have had bad experiences with guys who aren't serious and who try to cheat them or abuse them. So they are very nervous about meeting anyone the first time.

So they are constantly evaluating: is this enough money? Is this guy too weird? Am I becoming a prostitute?

Escorts will also refuse to see a guy they think is too weird, but they see lots of guys and may have a higher tolerance. Escorts also state their own price, so if you meet it, price shouldn't be an issue. SB's are more or less running an auction. Unlike escorts, they don't worry about their business reputation.

These aren't the only reasons for the no-shows and all the hassle some guys get from sb's but I think they're some of the reasons.

Some of them want a little sex chat. I ignore most of them. I think the best method is to browse for girls within driving distance. Then write up a good paragraph that will be mass email but doesn't sound like mass email and send it out to a bunch of girls. You'll get some replies if you send enough emails. Wait a few days to see if you are getting anywhere with some of them. If not, do it again. The better your profile and your email skills, the better results you will get. Anyway thats what I think.

For instance if their ad says they are a single mom, I might add a sentence saying I understand how tough it is being a single mom.
