Finding and catching actual criminals is dangerous and hard work. Arresting a harmless guy with a prostitution habit is much safer, and if he walks right into your precinct and freely admits to illegal behavior, then it's really goddamned easy too. The more arrests they make, the better their crime stats look, the more justification they have for larger and larger police budgets. I wouldn't dare report any of my experiences to the police. If you're strongly compelled to do so, then at least consult with a defense lawyer first.
Making an anonymous tip might provide better protection to yourself, but I wouldn't try it from anything but a burner phone. I'll admit that I've never done it, but I strongly suspect that the police take anonymous tips about as seriously as reports of carpool lane violations.

I just purchased some furniture that arrived last night. I started putting it together.
I cleaned the kitchen.
I made a snack.
I cruised websites seeing who I could've gotten that would have actually put out.
I read a book.
So, 2 1/2 hours after our date was supposed to start, I finally knocked on the door and told her to leave and she fled out the front door. I got my time, plus an hour and a half. Loss was $250, which is really just stupid thinking on her part. She saw where I live (in a somewhat expensive community with very heavy security), she saw I lived alone and knew that I was single and we got along just fine. Everything about me screamed "regular!" but the lure of sitting in my bathroom for 2 hours for $250 was just too tempting, I guess. She also left her prescription glasses, which immediately went down the garbage chute. I hope they cost less than $250.
