I met Bobby today on Brevard near the BK around noon. She had a rough-looking face, dirty blond (maybe brunette) hair. She 's a very nice person. Ok, here is a multlipart post. Has anyone done any research on the highway 20 area? I mention this area due to a recent experience that made me think this might be a good spot to take a look around.
The other night I was doing some bar hopping, and headed back to the hotel room around 11 pm. It was raining pretty hard, and I was cuttting over from Monroe to Tennessee street. On High road, in the residential area, I noticed a lady who was desparately trying to flag down cars. Being a gentleman, I pulled over to let this swammped lady into my car, with nothing but the most altrustic of thoughts in my mind, after all this was a nice resdiential area and I've never heard of SWs frequentling these digs. THere are a lot of low rent trailers ain the area, and a few convenience stores there to. It might be an area that merits some looking around. I normally post on the JAX board, but was in town for business. Took a cruise down Dewey and Brevard after lunch and found.... absoulutely nothing. I feel for you guys over here. What's a monger to do? No strip clubs, amps, only lame adult video stores. Which brings up a question. Has anyone seen any action around the Adult Video store on West Tennessee and Capitol Cir NW? Welcome to Tally. I have taken the cruise several times in the past week and only seen one girl and I wouldn't touch her. I see a lot of cars looking so I know the market is there. The city did have a club that opened here years ago and it lasted two days. The cops where all over it with the tv crews and all the other news guys. There was a long time that you couldn't buy a XXX tape in any store because thay got hit so much by LE. If you race cars in this town it is just as bad.

I get over to Tally and only knew the regular cruising area, starting behind the Burger King, etc. On Mapquest they say the Seminole Inn is out Mahan near the Interstate. Is this the one? How do you make contact? Do they leave their curtains open, stroll around a lot, or what? If you dont want to anwer on the board you can pm me, but I'd like the info for my next visit. The Seminole Inn/Best Western that Big Guy PC is talking about is the only one I'm familiar with, as it's just down the road from where I'm staying.
I drove by Tuesday around 4pm'ish but didn't see anything that would indicate girls working out of rooms.

I had another hitch-hiker experience. I had an appt. in Quincy, so I took the long way down 90, with thoughts of also doing a recon run through Midway. Yes, there are lurkers and there probably could be more posts if the lurkers had the balls to actually post something, but really, what is there to post for Tally these days? Hell, if I posted every time I saw nothing in the various cities I visit I would have several hundred posts, but I just don't see the point in posting messages that say "went cruising, saw nothing." Messages like that really don't have much value on this forum, unless it is to just verify how dry a town is...and we know Tally is dry and there just isn't that much going on. There was indeed more going on in the early 1990's when I lived there, but once the city put up brighter street lights on Brevard/Dewey/Copeland in, I think 1994, then things just went downhill. On the occasion I get to Tally I typically see nothing in the old cruising areas which is something other mongers/lurkers see: nothing. Tally's SW scene sucks.
