OUCH... Three hints, but RTFF for additional pointers.

1) Know your district. If you read RTFF, many streets will be indicated (sounds like you did this, but worth a review). Frankly, a W(SW?) in a B neighborhood is a good indicator. Best time for mongering may not be obvious. Night time may not be the right time. Afternoon may be better: better vision, less competition, and less LE.

2) Do not drive too fast, and look into their eyes. IN passing, learn to read them as in the monger primer: If they look right at you, and have even half a smile, you have a nibble. Give them a nod. If they wave too much, beware.

3) Drive around the block, iturn up the sensitivity of your LE radar. Pass them and pull around the corner, let them come to you and get right in. After performing the LE check, offer a Lincoln for advice about the scene--where, when, who NOT to pick up, etc. Have her slouch down in the seat (so LE does not stop you for merely having that friend), and ask her to give you a tour. I've been to ASPs and AMPs and want to get started mongering. I've heard all about the "checks" and am pretty sure what they are and what they are for, but...what exactly are they? Do you grab some chest and she grabs the junk? Or do you have a secret handshake like Mork and Mindy? Is it standard, and will all SW be expecting it? I'd hate to pick up my first one, cop a feel and get slapped!

In this pastime of ours we treat the good ones they way they should be treated and the bad ones the way THEY should be treated. You, my friend, got a bad one. Your instincts were undoubtedly correct as I am positive that no good would have come from going to her place (especially with her insistence, major red flags). Another option if you are in a legal state, drive to a close lit public area ,like a gas station and let her drunk ass act up. Regardless, if you are street mongering, get them in your car and move out of the immediate area. While leaving, make sure you aren't being followed.

I have had a a few H0's who have gotten into my car and I changed my mind because of their looks or attitude. Normally $3. $5 gets them out of the car.

I have a friend in Cincy who has found it necessary to help several SWs decide they really want to get out of his car. Usually, he just tells them that this won't workout and asks where he can drop them. Works most of the time. For the less agreeable, his approach has been to tell her that she can get out now or the next stop is Dayton and we'll be doing 75mph the whole way up. All but one have bolted at one of the 2-3 lights/stopsigns on the way to I-75. The last one was a little more defiant and didn't come to her senses until about halfway up the on-ramp. Sounds like she had about a mile walk back to the hood but I'm sure she did just fine.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't take them all the way to Dayton or even spend more than an exit or two on 75 since he told me he's betting on their attitude getting more and more humble the further they are from the stroll. Don't really know. Sounds like he hasn't really had to test that out. Sounds like some of these suggestions might be good to use if someone really decides to take him up on the Dayton threat. (or if he mistakenly picks up a SW who really DOES want to go to Dayton - lol).

Yes, I'd say that's her. For the last year plus she's been very sketchy. I saw her this summer once, but passed as she looked spooked by me.
