Streetwalker Reports

So Saturday overnight was the worst evening i've seen thus far on the strolls. Lots of cruisers, almost no ladies and lots of rain. I find it hard to cruise when it's raining, I can't see anything and all of the lights reflect off of the water.

I hung around for a few hours and saw nothing but the very occassional BSW in AAA. I did see one youngish white gal who looked pretty good but I could not for the life of me get her attention. At one point I was parallel with her and staring at her hard but she just would not look over. When I circled the block, she was gone. It even looked as though the local clubs had low turnout.

I finally decided to take one turn through Denny on my way home and I spotted a short WSW walking up Thomas. I pulled over and when she got into my car I realized it was Risa. She mentioned that vice was very heavy and they were doing jump-outs in the area so all of the girls were skiddish. We went to a spot and got down to BBJ with doggy finish.

I know it's been said before, but just in case anyone missed it i'll say again that Risa is one weird chick. I liked her but I wasn't exacly thrilled to have picked her up because I think her skills are just so-so. Also, she talks and talks and talks and drifts quickly from one completely unrelated topic to the next and there is simply no way to keep up with her. As we are getting down to business, a white van with tinted windows turned down the street and started heading toward us very very slowly. Risa saw this and flipped out, I started the car and got us out of there. She asked me what time it was and when I told her she flipped out again - seems she had to "get her stuff" from someone she was supposed to meet in Denny Park. She asked me if we could stop by the Denny area before we resumed.

Against my better judgement, I agreed to go bring her over. Once there, her connection was missed and she then she really started flipping out. She asked me to bring her to Belltown, I would wait one block away in the car while she walked to an apartment. Then, she said, we could resume business. Again, against my better judgement I drove her to Belltown.

Once there, she told me to wait five minutes. I fully expected her to take off, but surprisingly she came walking back. She was really not in a good mood when she got back - her connection was missed again. A van pulled out ahead of us and she started screaming at me to catch up with the van. While i'm driving, she' hanging out the window practically standing on the seat trying to get this guy's attention. She started yelling at me to pull alongside the van and as there was a truck in front of me I was unable to do so. "Drive up on the sidewalk!!" was her very serious reply.

By the time we caught up with the van at a stoplight near Denny, she suddenly realized that her connection was not driving and that he did not appear to be in the van. She was really cursing and freaking out and i'm wasn't really sure what to do. I told her to put her seatbelt back on and that i'd drop her off in Belltown. She didn't want me to drop her off, the buses had quit running and she needed to go to a motel on Aurora. She was trembling and really difficult to deal with. I'm thinking that i'm done with this whole thing and i'll just forget the money and get her out of the car.

I did not want another Suzie incident, so I decided the best thing for me to do would be to stay calm and while I find a way to ditch her as calmly as I can. She asked to use my phone, I handed it over thinking that if she got ahold of someone that would be my ticket out. When the guy answered the phone, he hung up on her and she started yelling - "that fucker took a hit and now he's paranoid!! This always happens to him - he gets paranoid when he takes a hit!!!". So, we are going through Belltown and she's looking out the window trying to find him on the street. She's yelling at me because i'm driving too fast and she can't see everybody, even though i'm only going 20mph. She thought she spotted the guy so I pulled over so she could walk around the block. Risa said, "i'm sorry....i'm really really sorry", then bolted out like an Olympian runner.

I have no idea if she planned on coming back, if she expected me to wait so we could do our business then bring her to Aurora. Whatever the case, as soon as she rounded the block I cut bait and bailed out of there. I just didn't want to risk getting into trouble and i'd gone far enough with her already. She was extremely moody, difficult and I felt even somewhat dangerous - I absolutely did not want to get into any kind of altercation with her for any reason. Besides, she got my money - let her take a cab to Aurora, then.

I probably will not pick Risa up again.

I was out for about two hours tonight, some kind of record for me. Went through Denny, Hostess and AAA a few times and didn't see much. Way too many guys out cruising and way too few girls working.

Some kind of altercation broke out in AAA, security from the club walked all the way down by the McDonalds to talk to a group of young kids. I didn't know the difference and thought they were cops. Meanwhile, two BSWs started smiling at me and waving me over, one shouted something but I couldn't hear. I thought, "man, that's really stupid to be yelling over at me with cops right there". I moved on and finally after a few turns, I spotted a gal with nice curves and pulled over. I didn't realize that it was Denali and that she was the one yelling at me over on the previous block.

I'm always amazed at what a nice-looking and mellow gal Denali is. Tonight she was very quiet and mellow, normally she talks to me a bit. I hadn't seen her around and she told me she just got out of jail after doing 30 days.

Yeah, I do believe that is Peaches. Funny, about two months ago or so I picked up a BSW and we couldn't come to terms so I was bringing her back to AAA and we encountered the blonde in the BMW. Please note I did not put this together, but am just copying and pasting it from a local board. That said, the info is good and should be shared with all newbies that want to know where the Seattle strolls are located.

Aurora Avenue N: Action begins at Denny and runs all the way to N. 145th St. Best areas are from Denny to Mercer on the east side (sometimes referred to as the Hostess stroll due to the bakery there), from N. 39th to N. 46th (also known as the 41st street Ho'verpass due to the overpass at 41st)--kind of slow these days, Winona Ave N. (near Greenlake and 7-11) is home to Winona Linda and others and is best at night, Oak Tree at N. 100th (this is a strip mall with movie theatre and Larry's Market), and then from 125th to 145th (this is perhaps the best area). Rite Aide is here and you might here it referred to as the KK (Krispi Kreme) stroll. Best from early afternoon to midnight.

AAA stroll: Runs from the Shell Station at Aurora and Denny about 4 blocks to the north and 1 block west of Aurora. Best on Friday and Saturday nights, hit or miss any other time.

LCW: Lake City Way from 115th to 145th. Very hit or miss, but sometimes a gem can be found here, usually during the afternoon. Home of the best strip club in Seattle (Ricks).

Hurricane: Hurricane Cafe is located on 7th and Bell downtown. Drive west on Bell to 2nd Ave, go 1 block south to Blanchard, go east back to 7th and north to Bell. Repeat. There is a bus stop just south of Hurricane where they frequently hang out. Home of Goth Alison, crack monster Jenn, and others.

Denny Park: Two blocks north of the Hurricane is a park. The streets primarily north of the park are the stroll. All times of day can produce a SW, but most are homeless junkies.

ID: Also known as International District or Chinatown. A few blocks east of Quest Field. I'm not too familiar, but if you go to 6th and Jackson you are in the heart. Several blocks in each direction should put you on target.

Central District: Jackson, Yesler, Cherry, Union, from 12th Ave S to 23rd. Primarily BSW's.

Rainier: The whole length from Henderson to Jackson. Primarily BSW's.

South Park: Cloverdale Street from 5th Ave S. To 14th Ave S. And 14th Ave South from Cloverdale all the way to 7-11 at Glendale Way S. Primarily junkies.

White Center: 15th and Roxbury and nearby vicinity. Primarily junkies and gang area.

LCW: Lake City Way. Occasional SW traffic, usually from about 125th-145th.

Madison: I've seen (but never picked up) a few along Madison on Capitol Hill in the past. Kind of a scary stretch of road, especially at night. But if you're feeling adventurous.

Olso the girls have moved to Pacific Highway South. From Pacific Ave it's only about a fifteen minute drive. Most of the action is from 272nd to 216th and some more down near the airport.

I'm not sure what you mean by the girls are "aligning" themselves with China. A lot of the girls that have worked the AAA Stroll for a while have developed casual friendships and will walk and chat with each other. I know one of the gals I used to pick up said she really thinks China is a cool person, but then quickly added that she doesn't provide very good service and would recommend that I avoid.

That was actually a statement that I made. Last week I talked to Ms. Monica on the phone (who's actually in Texas) because her sister was supposed to be here last week. She asked if I wanted a recommendation and then recommended China. I told her that reviews were not good and that other girls didn't have much good to say about her. She didn't seem to like my comments, but she did tell me that she's been recommending her. That's really what I meant when I said "aligning".

I have great interest in the Seattle board since I visit there occasionally. I went to University back in the mid 70's and have a history there. I have scouted Denny Park on foot and cruised Aurora. I have seen the action up close but in all my experience I think that only the senior members who know what they are doing are the only ones not taking chances. I defer to them and maybe they will be the only ones who get the gist of this post. Mainly unless you know the area, the Seattle SW thing will not be an easy egg to crack.

I have experience in Alaska, Canada, Everett, Begium and the Netherlands and have yet to experience a Seattle provider. It's not that easy to get away with and all the senior posters here make it seem so easy. The market is sure changing. My point is just because the strolls are mapped is not a guarantee for success.

I don't know Otter, I am big guy, and most of the time. Ladies do not look me in the eye. On foot or in my truck, If I get eye contact and they look clean and not TGTBT (LE). I go talk to them. "fish on, " is what I, would add.

I've been down there quite a few times and had alot of luck at the modeling studios and tanning salons. The gentlemen clubs were great too. I heard the LE were cracking down on an old law that they didn't start enforcing until this year regarding the distance from an "adult" business being 1000 feet from any business that allows minors (which is almost every place). Hmmm. I first hobbied about the time you were here, when you could walk along Pike Street and find anything you wanted in each of six or eight blocks. It gets better or worse as the politics of the moment changes, but I agree with Civ2000: On a warm summer night a boy can find most anything he wants in DP.

My point is that a punter new to the area is at greater risk of a bust or ROB.
I think the pressure that SPD puts on the area and all the competition drving on busy streets, dealing with the wanna bee pimps scaring off the the clients are all variables that make the Seattle stroll tricky. You might find that fish in a barrel is really a pirrhana and might make you pay more than you bargain
for. But its a different deal for someone who lives in a bungaloo on Queen Ann Hill and can survey the situation.

You make it sound more difficult than it is. In the AAA for example, there are tons of young women dressed like ho's. Make eye contact and pull over. They jump in and quote you .80 for cbj and you counter with .40 and settle for .50. You just pull over next to one that doesn't have a pimp following her at that given moment. With another relationship going belly-up and feeling some "pressure" down there, I decided to log on and see what I've been missing last few months. The question that I impose is this:
Has anybody have any experience in picking up SW by walking up when they duck into fast-food establishments for rest, food, etc during their stroll? Is there some protocol I should be following? I lost couple of real good prospects this way last week. I waited around for some but they usually stay too long for me to wait or disappear when I was not looking.

Reason I'm asking is I actually tried to approach one when one was "waiting" for a bus. There was a certain fright in her eyes as I approached her. As she was staring me down, she was scrambling in her jacket pockets looking for something (whistle, mace, knife, gun, taser, ????). Even though I stopped more than 10 feet from her, she did not look pleased at the situation. I didn't want to be caught screaming "Don't taser me, bro!", so I high-tailed out of there, but felt like I lost an opportunity 'cause she was actually pretty cute. And yes, I know she was not a civilian.

I didn't - I actually didn't realize that it was your Tamara until i re-read your report (the mole on the nose is a dead giveaway). I don't know if this is going to help you, but for a long time I only felt comfortable picking up street hookers on foot. I was actually pretty good at it. Usually I would approach and just say "hello" first. In my experience, if she's working she'll engage you in conversation, then come around to asking you what you are up to. It's normally downhill from there. If she's not working, she either not respond to you or will be short/clipped in her speech, you'll just know that she's not at all interested.

I used to fly down to Los Angeles for work every Monday morning a little over a year ago. I never rented a car during the week and would go on foot everywhere (I stayed in Venice Beach). At night, the area was known to have hookers out but lots of civilian girls taking walks or jogging as well. I would just say "hello" to every lady I passed without looking as though I was eagerly walking directly at them, people can generally tell when you have them zeroed in. Keep it light and you might score once in a while. I know that my score ratio was quite high out on Lincoln/Venice Blvd.

I don't know that area very well, it's a red motel building. It's very close to the motorcycle shop on the southbound lane of Aurora and Blue Video is in the area but on the northbound side. I consider that area to be all Fremont, but again I just don't know that area very well.

After reading the entire first page (only) I saw nothing off-topic. If there is some off-topic discussion, and it's a page or two back, a reference to the specific post might be helpful.

The only thing I saw was a reference to "bush," but in CAPS. I'm no expert on how this all works, but maybe your filter is a little plugged up and needs a replacement.

Last night on the AAA stroll I spotted a girl that I figured must be "China". I'd read a few cautionary posts that called her performance lackluster, and hinted at the possibility that she was a rip-off artist. I stopped for her anyway (well, no one can deny that she has a HOT model's body and face). Sure enough it was China. Basic description: she's a tall, Asian, good looking, well-spoken mom in her early 20's. Noticed a picture of her baby on her cell phone.

We went and did the usual thing under the usual conditions. She was definitely aloof, but overall it was worthwhile.

On the way back to AAA, we encountered a 3rd party who will remain un-described (however, was not a pimp or associate). I can tell you with 100% certainty that it was a random encounter with someone who was a stranger to both of us, but who could have done each of us harm. I can tell you that it was totally my fault that the encounter occurred, and China had every reason to be ticked-off at me. Fortunately, the situation resolved itself in about 5 minutes with no ill effects, and we were back on our way. She had handled herself in a smart and controlled manner.

But here's the thing: for the first time, I saw her laughing. I love a dark sense of humor. Then she opened up and we had a great talk. She loves her kid, had problems with an former in-call gig but now seems to hate the risk of working on the street (i.e., she's scared).

I don't know what her history is with past mongers, but I enjoyed being with her. In any case, she sure didn't seem like a druggie, drinker, rip-off artist or a crazy to me.

YMMV of course, and you always need to be cautious with anybody who's desperate enough to work a job that requires getting into a stranger's car at 12:30AM. (Duh.) Even so, seems like she'd be quite enjoyable under the right circumstances. I'd suggest cutting the girl some slack.

I've picked up China before. She is a very attractive Asian who wears very skimpy outfits. I've never said she is a rob or anything very bad about her, but I'd never pick her up again even though she is a nice enough gal.

Several members of the board (including me) do a lot of walking. there are at least three fast food places frequented by our ladies on North Aurora. Once the ladies get to know you, it's fine.

I sometimes use the Trashmobile, and I always keep it parked nearby, but usually walking is just a friendlier thing to do. There's no special protocol that I know of. Women will introduce you to their friends. It keeps paranoia down on both sides.

And, I Hobby, the lady at the bus stop definitely sounds like a civilian.

There are two that fit the description: The Fremont Inn and the Italia Motel. The Italia asks fewer questions.
